  1. Don't tell Mike Florio that. He probably still believes that Tom Brady will be the starting QB of the 49ers in 2023.
  2. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk says that Baker would be a good fit in Detroit because he thinks Dan Campbell could control his attitude.
  3. The talk is that although Rodgers has a new contract, he's probably going to take it year by year and could easily retire after 1 or 2 of the seasons.
  4. They could or they could "Suck for Stroud" or go "Yahoo for Young" by going with Lock and Geno Smith for the season.
  5. So umm...who does Kyle Pitts catch passes from now if this trade goes through?
  6. Touche. There are people who want Gardner Minshew to be a starter somewhere in the league. I sense the future of Minshew will be that he'll replace Ryan Fitzpatrick as "guy NFL teams bring in as a short term solution but not as the guy so he'll end up playing for 15 years with 8-10 teams" except that he's a lot more consistent than Fitzpatrick. Makes me wonder how many teams right now think that Minshew would be an upgrade over what they currently have. Would Minshew be an upgrade over Tua, Trubisky, Wentz, Goff, Darnold, (Daniel) Jones? Would he be an upgrade over Tannehill in Tennessee? He's entering the final year of his rookie contract, so if he does play at all in 2022 and plays well in 2022, I wonder how much interest there would be for him in the open market.
  7. After trading Case Keenum: So now the QB market is down to Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Ryan Fitzpatrick (who might retire instead) and Andy Dalton.
  8. Maybe Winston. Mariota was replaced by Tannehill so they won't bring him back. Fitzpatrick played for them in 2013 and wasn't great.
  9. Jimmy G, Baker Mayfield and (probably) Gardner Minshew, (maybe) Matt Ryan and (maybe) Jordan Love can be had in trades. Seattle, New Orleans, Indy and Carolina need QBs. Atlanta might join them if they trade Ryan. Detroit and New York Giants are maybes but they seem like they want to give their current QB's a chance. There's also Marcus Mariota, Jamies Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick (if he doesn't decide to retire), Jacoby Brissett and Andy Dalton. Also teams needing backups like the Bills, Jaguars (maybe), 49ers (if they trade Jimmy G), Raiders (Garrett Gilbert is a camp body at best), Bucs and Rams. Plus the draft class isn't all that strong.
  10. Houston believes Davis Mills can be a franchise QB. They will give him a shot for 2022. Mayfield will either be a Colt, Seahawk or Saint.
  11. Finally, Devante Adams is playing for an actual good guy at QB, a QB who people still think could be traded, despite the new folks in charge saying otherwise. Plus he can increase Carr's TD's from 2021, perhaps even to the 40 TD threshold for the first time in his career. Meanwhile, Panthers, Colts, Browns, Saints, Seahawks and Falcons have QB issues. Jimmy G? Gardner Minshew? Baker Mayfield? Matt Ryan? A free agent?
  12. Yannick Ngaouke to Colts for Rock Ya Sin after Raiders sign Chandler Jones
  13. Big Ben is not coming back and I think Fitz (Larry Fitzgerald) is done too.
