  1. Seems unlikely since Daniel Snyder owns the stadium. He might be out by then, but that also seems like it's a longshot.
  2. Say what you want about KD. Him investing in the sport is huge.
  3. A bit of a mistake there. That's going to cause issues.
  4. Probably the latter and they might target teams in the Lone Star Conference. In that case, they may want to go after West Texas A&M, who just recently opened a brand new on campus football stadium. Another option is that they try to lure Prairie View and Texas Southern out of the SWAC.
  5. The addition of Warren Smith adds credibility to any soccer bid, so it will be a huge surprise if this doesn't succeed.
  6. So basically....the only option for the Bandits right now is this:
  7. I just hope that wherever the next expansion will be, Taylor Twellman is there to announce it.
  8. It currently only seats 7,200 but 18,000 was the plan before the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL were sold. Now that doesn't seem to be happening. This was what was planned for Al Lang before the Rowdies were sold. This is what it looks like now:
  9. That is the last thing either of these leagues (USFL and XFL) need: to have one of their teams play in a currently active baseball stadium. Unless USF gets their on campus stadium, the only choice is Raymond James.
  10. Is that a done deal though? Last I read is that Jeffrey Vinik donated money to build it, but I haven't heard anything about it since.
  11. Tampa also has no options.
  12. The USFL will probably tarp of sections of Heinz Field as well.
  13. Now we wait for Jimmy G. As for Seattle? They will probably go with either Drew Lock or Geno Smith to secure that number one pick for CJ Stroud or Bryce Young.
  14. Big Ten adding Stanford would be adding an elite level women's basketball program, much like how adding UCLA improves men's basketball.
  15. It will be interesting to see which stadiums the 7 other teams will play once they move to actual cities.
  16. So the Texas Rangers.....are not terrible.
  17. They are not going to allow two teams to merge without getting something in return. Whether it's to move up the roster expansion from September 1st or expanding to 26-30 players to start the season and getting rid of the September 1st Roster expansion. I don't think any talks of contraction or merging of teams happens without the MLBPA getting something in return, that's all.
