Do you know the reasons for the black boxes between the 20 and 30-yard line? I don't think I've seen that before...
Edit: I just realized it's probably the sponsors...

Was about to say this...I'm in the minority of people who liked the Cuba grays, I would've been fine with the Cubs junking the current grays mostly because they're kinda blah. Not sure what the best answer would be tbh, whether it's modernizing the 60s grays, making a new version of the 80s blues or trying to polish the turd that is the current grays.
I'm in the same boat with you - I liked the Cuba's, even though I understand the flack they get. I feel like retooling the 60s grays would be a good idea, and I can get on board with another 80s-style getup, however I'm no aesthetic specialist.

Welp, Talk about all that for nothing.
I just tuned in a while ago to watch a little bit of the Rolex 24 when I woke up this morning, and I'm somewhat not surprised they didn't change it. Are they waiting for the Indycar season to start or for their portion of the NASCAR schedule? Or did someone higher up nix it? The world may never know...

I actually really don't mind if some teams ditched their greys, but Seattle had some nice greys so I'm bummed
The Cubs need to redo their away jerseys IMO, I've never really liked the current ones. I know the Cubs have not had a perfect batting record when it comes to the away jerseys, but hopefully Nike can do something good within the next few years.

God I love that white panel helmet. I would love a sunday alternate hat that matches the helmet
I remember being skeptical when the rebranding came out, however I feel like the batting helmet makes this look more concrete and unifies it very well. I do agree, there needs to be some cohesion with a matching cap.

Yes to the Colorado jersey! I love the Colorado state flag, and you were able to incorporate it into this jersey really well. I can't wait to see what you have in store!

I've never seen the interlocking CB logo for the Browns, very interesting stuff. I think it looks alright.

From the "Wait, WHAT?!" department: Julius Erving, aka Dr. J. actually was an Atlanta Hawk..... for all of two exhibition games in 1972.

And him wearing No. 54 is so confusing too...

I love this idea so much! How you are able to create such unique ideas is awesome. The Cubs one looks fantastic too
The A's one, with the elephant on both sides, is great and unique too.

At my college, they use PepsiCo for their drinks, and one of my friends said "They replaced Sierra Mist with this knockoff!"
I only had Sierra Mist a few times, and I enjoyed it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

I'm hoping we get some sort of nice surprise with a different template. We have to be about due?
The nerd in me would love for the helmets on the 25-yard line to come back.

I'll never get used to Lance Stephenson in the current Pacers uniforms:

Intriguing that you went for the interlocking DC instead of the W that most other sports teams go. I've always had a little bit of a soft spot for the blue and gold of the 90s, and this looks great!

The closest thing that I could think of is Hank Gathers collapsing in the 1990 WCC tournament; different situations, but the scene very harrowing.
And I'll second what @infrared41 said - the EMTs did a great job last night with this situation. This is probably the most bleak I've felt as a sports fan since Newman's crash at the Daytona 500 a few years ago ...

Are we expecting FOX to stick with the "Super Bowl = new graphics" pattern this year?
I wouldn't be surprised if they do, but I figured this current scoreboard graphic would have awhile left in it (they've adapted the style into NASCAR broadcasts last year).

This is the first time (that I remember) someone doing the CL on these boards. Great stuff here, however I feel like having Denver be called the Mountain Lions makes it too crowded on the jersey. Maybe shortening it to the Lions would help? And also the Anchormen is just brilliant and ingenious.

Wouldn't say right team for LBJ but absolutely for D-Wade - what a bizarre time the sleeved jersey era was.

We need to get the Mayflower fleet back here ASAP. I don't think Indy wants this team anymore after this.

We are two days away from the Clash in Los Angeles and the beginning of the 2023 NASCAR Season!
Last season saw Joey Logano grab his 2nd Cup crown, Ty Gibbs win a Xfinity title before getting the move up to cup to drive the
1854 car for grandfather Joe Gibbs, and Zane Smith and Front Row breaking through to win the truck title.A lot happened with driver moves and the schedule as well, with Kyle Busch leaving the 18 ride to pilot the 8 car for Richard Childress, Jimmie Johnson coming back to own a portion (and running some races!) of
Petty GMS MotorpsortsLegacy Motor Club, the addition of a street course in Chicago to the Cup schedule, and the long-awaited return of North Wilkesboro Speedway as the host of this year's All Star race.I'm going to go ahead and put my predicitons for the Championship 4 for both series (bold equals my championship prediciton); I encourage you all to do the same!
Cup: Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, William Byron
Xfinity: John Hunter Nemechek, Brandon Jones, Josh Berry, Austin Hill
Trucks: Ben Rhodes, Zane Smith, Grant Enfinger, Stewart Friesen
This season will celebrate the 75th anniversary of NASCAR, and let's hope this season will be a good one!
