  1. When your only response is name-calling, you have no response. I'll take that as you implying you agree. Well this time he actually has a medical issue
  2. Holding is a rule and they didn't call it on the punt return or the last offensive play. If you're calling it loose because it's a playoff game, fine, but then you can't turn around and call a late hit penalty that was about 1 millisecond after he's out of bounds and consistently is never called for any other player at any other position.
  3. Well by the definition of the rulebook, they didn't score more points. Other than Chris Jones and Butker, all of those guys are bottom 5 for starters at their poisition.
  4. Lions fans? Browns fans? You're also way overestimating how often the better or higher seeded team wins in the playoffs. Both teams always have a chance in a playoff game. And if you have enough shots at it, you never know. All that being said, the Bills window is this year and that's it. The Chiefs window is already closed. The Bengals have maybe 2 more years. The way these QB deals are going, every team that gets a "franchise QB" will have nothing but bodies around him by their second deal. Tua and Herbert have next and then someone who's probably in college now.
  5. They have 1 Super Bowl win. You have to win the AFC Championship game to win the Super Bowl and they did not do that last year by any definition of the word "win". And this Chiefs team is not the same team as the won that won their first Super Bowl. That team was loaded and this one is not.
  6. And who are the Chiefs 2023 equivalents to Revis or Edelman? Trent McDuffie and K'darius Toney? You seriously think those are comparable?
  7. Nah, you're not changing it now. You said 6 Super Bowls. Here ya go: - Gronkowski - Ty Law - Richard Seymour - Vinatieri - Gostkowski - Revis - Wilfork I'm sure I'm forgetting someone too. I'm also not even counting the not quite HOF players but good players that the Chiefs have nowhere near like Edelman, Gilmore, McCourty, etc. The Chiefs don't have a WR who breathes the same air as Edelman. They don't have any impact players on their defensive back 7. They're just a bad team with 3 very good players on it. The Patriots were a good team with 3 great players on it. That's a world of difference.
  8. Sorry, I didn't word it well. What I mean is, lower the threshold for overturning the call. Like, if it looks more likely than not (like 51%), than change the call. It shouldn't have to be 100% irrefutable just because the call on the field was different. I'm saying you'll always see the play better on the replay and you're already taking time to look at it so there's no reason to even consider the call on the field.
  9. I thought you were saying that they won't trade him, but should trade him. They obviously won't. I just also think they shouldn't. If I misinterpreted that, my bad! Dude there's literally like at least 5-7 other guys from those Patriots teams that will be in the Hall of Fame. It wasn't even close to just Brady. Kelce will be the absolute only other player on the Chiefs right now that has a chance.
  10. What are you talking about? I don't know what he's talking about either but one thing that would go a long way to helping NFL officiating is to make them acutally use replay when they go to replay. Throw out the call on the field and have the sack to actually make a decision based on the replay. If I ever have to hear the phrase "not enough evidence to overturn it" one more time... This is not a he said, she said law case. You have literally dozens of camera angles to make a decision. Who cares what the guy standing 10 yards away who saw it in real time said?
  11. The Chiefs are literally 3 players and then a 50 man practice squad.
  12. The Bills are a much better team than the Chiefs all around. Is Allen as good as Mahomes? No, but there are 21 other players playing. And 19 of the Chiefs' other 21 players are practice squad caliber players. Who are you suggesting they replace Josh Allen with? Because the Panthers tried the "tear it down, anything is better" strategy and haven't even come close to getting back to where they were, let alone improving. Do you remember when it took Buffalo literally 20 years to find a QB after Kelly? There are teams that have literally never had one in the Super Bowl era. You think you'll just throw a dart and find a better QB than Josh Allen?
  13. There are worse things than getting to the divisional round every year. Crazy things happen in the playoffs, especially in the NFL's one-game elimination. I can say from experience, the grass is NOT always greener. The Panthers have changed QB's every year since 2018 and haven't upgraded a single time. Honestly, this year included.
  14. Didn't the Packers lose a 1st round pick on that too? With all the names I've seen thrown around, I can't believe I haven't seen Cam as part of the discussion if they go the route of signing someone.
  15. Dundon does not like spending money off the ice. That's why he canned two legendary announcers that he thought were getting paid too much. I always had the notion that they got a better offer from Chicago, so they took it. And it blew up in their faces. Apart from spitting in the face of any fans they have in the largest city in the state. They should just set up a new AHL team in Chapel Hill or something at this point.
  16. First of all, a lot of people that watch football are in their 20's. Second of all, I've seen the uniforms. That doesn't mean it fits their current brand. They currently wear navy and neon green. When I turn on a Seahawks game, I'm expecting to see navy and neon green. Them not wearing that makes them not look like the Seahawks. If they ever change back to blue/silver full-time, that would change. BTW, whoever called my last post a troll-post, I don't feel like digging back through to quote you but THANK YOU for your valuable input. Seriously, you exploded my mind. What would I have ever done without that? What a valuable contribution. I had never thought of it that way before. What a new way of thinking. Such an original thought. Your existence now has meaning.
  17. The Seahawks, absolutely. It's a completely different brand and color scheme. It's completely off-brand and looks like a different team. The only reason the Jets and Vikings aren't quite as bad is because their current uniforms really aren't all that different from the throwbacks. But in that case, why even bother? It's like an uncanny valley situation. For the record, I like all three teams' throwbacks better than their currents. If they chose them to use full-time, I'd be happy about it. I just don't like off-brand alternates. Pick a brand and stick to it.
  18. The NFL is now the NBA. It will be impossible to tell who is playing immediately in any game. Every team should have at MOST 3 uniforms, all of which being recolors of each other. Anything else is just brand dilution.
  19. I still count purple, it's on the jerseys. 5 (or even 4) non-white colors on a jersey is way, way too many. Especially when they're all so dark. I agree that the old ones were boring, but I'll take boring over cluttered any day. Fix the colors and the kachinas are much better. But the colors ruin it.
  20. Unpopular opinion: the kachinas were a downgrade from what they had. The color scheme is the most important part of the brand for a team IMO, and they simply don't have one anymore. Red and sand is much stronger than black, green, red, blue, and purple. Also, the logo is too detailed for a jersey. I like the overall concept of the kachinas better, but those two flaws are too much to look past.
  21. The fairgrounds area is horrible, Fishers is a clear upgrade. Putting it in the development with the new soccer stadium would've been better though. Related: I don't get why they need a separate brand new arena for the G League team one town over in Noblesville. They could've easily shared one building.
  22. The most tired take on here is that every single team in each league has to have an absolutely unique color scheme at all costs. There is literally no reason the Jets couldn't wear the same color as the Eagles - and they don't even wear kelly anyways. That being said, the Eagles have worn midnight my entire life so that's just how they look to me. The kellies are fine but they don't seem like the Eagles to me. I'd assume someone older would feel the opposite. On a separate note, they should pick one or the other. Throwbacks only serve to dilute the brand.
  23. An Indy suburb is building a 7,000 seat arena for the ECHL Fuel. Could definitely work for an AHL team.
