  1. Well I would say things would proceed normally in Super Bowl terms.... and everything was fine and dandy until the :censored:ing Patriots traded a metric :censored:ton of picks to Cleveland for Bill and Brady.

    NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

    AIL4fc-VjmgNXUPzzPvruSS3Rx-s28Ag5WV8FpyK

What is known today as the New England Tom Brady trade was at the time considered the most controversal trade of that time... Robert Kraft saw $$$$ in his eyes when Bill and Tom won 2 Super Bowls with the Cleveland Browns and at the time the pairing was fresh and new so Kraft sacked his coach and personally organised the trade that saw Bill and Tom take their talents and over the years transformed the New England Patriots into basically the same Navy and Silver bastards that won 5 Super Bowls.

Now that Tom has retired for good and rode his white horse into the Sunset... the Patriots ditch the Navy and returned to the Blue and employ a Unitard look that works and yes they have Silver pants on the side.

  2. Moving on from safety... we has a team that never changes... from the land of cheese.

    GREEN BAY PACKERS

    AIL4fc8-WBuB0DNhfjArOTQJVUmw0aKJHTfH66Iw

Packers still remain as they have ever been except that they have 4 super bowls to their name... the Packers dominated the first two Super Bowls and as an aftermath of that dominance, the NFL and the AFL had a public spat which caused the Super Bowl to be suspended for roughly 10+ years until both leagues merged mooting the spat... the solution to come up for this was to acknowledge both NFL and AFL champion as that year's super bowl winner.

1970: New York Jets and Baltimore Colts

1971: Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Colts

1972: New York Jets and Baltimore Colts
1973: Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders

1974: Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings

1975: Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers

1976: Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers

1977: Oakland Raiders and Minnesota Vikings

1978: Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings

1979: New York Jets  and Pittsburgh Steelers

1980: San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers

Then everything proceeded as normal from 1981.

  3. Next up is the safe option... for all those present.

    WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

    AIL4fc_os0DVofyaAlaCM8mPTU5hMV8OjvuAazNI

Washington is here... the all dominant pigskins, took part in the greatest super bowl of all time in 1992 where they took on the Miami Dolphins in one of the greatest showings of the game itself but there had to be a loser and they were the unfortuate chaps to do it.

Miami Dolphins went on to win 5 straight super bowls as I stated before... Don Shula was a beast and it took 20 years before Bill Belichek did it with the Pats.

  4. Next up in the series is the team from New York that is a major player in the athletic... and no its not New England yet.

    NEW YORK JETS

    AIL4fc_63eRcECmml4ZUXWv6Ep1p4taar56oUSj9

The Jets were a major athletic conference juggernaut winning a total of 3 championships before the NFL-AFL merger... they still went through the bad years of the uniforms, the mismanagement and the ridicule... yet this uniform I designed for the USFL thread still works here because it's a heck of a lot better than their current uniforms although props for bringing back the sack exchange uniforms which I personally see as a big win for the Rodgers led Jets.

  5. Anyway the next 8 batch of updates are going to be the last ones before the all important 32 league placement... so the last two are predetermined.

However what isn't determined is this next team because without their traditional rivals... they have been able to face off against the likes of the Bills, the Browns, the Steelers and more important their oldest rivals the Chiefs... however like in our reality, they do eventually move westward to become...

    ARIZONA CARDINALS

    AIL4fc8-0EVWxAQubnoOKIJve3tXBjvaeHz7YTdx

In an ideal world, the Arizona Cardinals would of had Pat Tillman as a part time owner and something the fans would be proud of... a military hero coming back from Afganhistan without being cowardly murdered by someone in his own platoon... no the spinless :censored: would of been executed as a traitor.

Anyway the Pat Tillmans still remain Cardinals best look and right now with a uniform change that is literally mid... that and I don't know how to add flake to helmets, I went with the total embrace of Arizona's flag.... and long may you not see silver and black ever again.

  6. Last team for this batch because we're still in the AFC part and now for an integral part of the athletic which technically only lasted for a year in our time but given a decade to become it's own thing....

    CINCINNATI BENGALS

    AIL4fc9yx-L62LAgspQvfDjpaW7jG5dXydI1CRvK

Without the direct comparison to the Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals are their own thing.... the cool cats that connected the northern parts of the athletics to the Florida teams of the South... in fact the real life Bengals are still cool looking cats... I just added a personal touch here and there like the B's above the numbers but that's my preference.

They are also grateful to the AFC North because it gives them rivalry games against the Buffalo Bills and their close rivals the Cleveland Browns now that they don't have the history behind it.

Plus as I mentioned cool cats.

  7. Alright then time for another team and this one was something I'd been dreading but that is mostly because this team comes from a vital area in the South and is essentially important to the AFL... and that is Birmingham, Alabama.

    BIRMINGHAM VULCANS

    AIL4fc_wrv_N5db5S9idRaAiltilEL80eP2B0-Z6

Someone: But Heavy these aren't the Birmingham Vulcans that I know of.

Correct! These are the Birmingham Vulcans that the team adapted after the team went bankrupt in 1992 thus allowing the NFL to transfer the image of the previously bankrupted Birmingham Fire of the WLAF onto said team and take over... essentially this team is the Houston Texans of our timeline, a timeless look that slightly adapted because Chicago complained when the deal was proposed.

  8. Next up a side that hasn't really changed much in real life, I went into detail in the USFL thread that there are certain uniforms that are great and others are cancerous... especially the Eli Mannings.

And with that we come to the dynasty that is...

    THE NEW YORK GIANTS

    AIL4fc8OamZAGkJ15nscqBAbTLYIH8cvqfeXkNgO

The Giants are a side that really doesn't need to explain much.... they are New York, they have won Super Bowls, they have gone through the lot but their uniforms work as a classic base so with that I decided to modernise the pre Lawrence Taylor uniforms but also give it a large red line as it's established to be structually a pillar of the community.

Without the Cowboys here, the Giants get to have fun for a change.

  9. Next up is a team that is a powerhouse in the 70's, destroys teams in the unrelenting cold winds of Minnesota... yep it's time for that powerhouse of the NFC.

    MINNESOTA VIKINGS

    AIL4fc_fWxVCybLlrgrdrko5aSoPf7FPZ2P45lci

The Vikings in the 70's were a terrifying colossus that rivalled Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain and in the NFL before the merger counted as titles.... they literally POWERED their way to 2 official championship wins and that has been the staple ever since.

However the Vikings were cursed with one thing when the NFL and the AFL happened and that is mediocrity... that mediocrity is present in today's Vikings... nothing spells meh like Kurt Cousins who they should of tossed away a while ago but they couldn't do it because they had to pay for a stadium that isn't cold.

I mean look at the Vikings now, they are in that bedrock of tradition that puts them with Green Bay, Chicago and Detroit... anything that deviates the fans will complain so here... the board did what the Bucs did and that was revert... essentially the Vikings are the innovators of the throwback look.

  10. Well i'm out of the hospital... and good thing too because I was able to quickly whip this up for the next team in the series... and they are a real buzz.

    CHARLOTTE HORNETS

    AIL4fc_LANNAiPz2ecruDQH3h2DWXaeDxP_Ch6rn

The Hornets remained as traditional as they could of been for roughly 25 years with the same yellow, black and white that they were able to get out... however eventually the Hornets moved onto their honey gold and was able to keep the logo the same.

They are mostly known for inventing the unitard look.

  11. And next up on this thread.... the black hole.

    LOS ANGELES RAIDERS
    AIL4fc-xRFzS8XrAp3SUqpuz6qfdc9U1VDQgvP3A

They always exist, no matter what timeline you get, the Raiders exist.... instead of going to Vegas, they went back to Los Angeles as it was planned before Spanos threw a :censored:ing wrench into the plans.

The Raiders hate everyone, they hate the Chargers, they hate the Rams and especially they hate the 49ers.

  12. Next up on the list... in the words of CLEFAN from the USFL merger thread.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    HOUSTON OILERS

    AIL4fc-Hcwouwy7UYAHnoyaF5fTNrL9Rp1BOFzgz

Houston has the Oilers, they have never left... they have been around since the 60's as an expansion team for the NFL rather than the AFL but the point stands.

They are like the Raiders... why stay away from a winning design especially since you don't have to worry about relocation because that never happened at all, in fact huge Oiler Stadium is one of the nicest places to go on game day.
