  1. You could also do this series: https://uni-watch.com/2023/04/16/what-if-the-afl-never-existed-part-1/ https://uni-watch.com/2023/04/29/what-if-the-afl-never-existed-part-2/ https://uni-watch.com/2023/05/13/what-if-the-afl-never-existed-part-3/ https://uni-watch.com/2023/05/28/what-if-the-afl-never-existed-part-4/
  2. Did they have Jim Kelly? Because in OTL, he played for the USFL's Houston Gamblers before going to the Bills.
  3. I thought the McNairs owned the Oilers after Bud Adams bought the Nashville Renegades and changed their name to the Tennessee Titans.
  4. Redwoods more of northern thing, maybe?
  5. As an Iowan, I voted for Minneapolis and Denver, and wrote in St. Louis.
  6. I made a list of every NFL team's playoff game-starting quarterbacks. That's how I learned these two facts: 1. The Panthers have had the fewest playoff game-starting quarterbacks with only 3 (Collins, Delhomme, and Newton). 2. The Vikings have had the most playoff game-starting quarterbacks with a whopping 19 (Kapp, Cuozzo, Lee, Tarkenton, Kramer, Wilson, Salisbury, McMahon, Moon, Johnson, Cunningham, George, Culpepper, Jackson, Favre, Webb, Bridgewater, Keenum, and Cousins).
  7. Dang, that sucks. BTW, once you're done with this series, you can work on Uni-Watch's next NFL alternate history from the mind of Chris Diamond: "What if the AFL never existed?" It's only up to 1990, but it looks awesome.
  8. I like the shade of gold you used. BTW, here's what I think your release itinerary should be: 1. Kansas City Chiefs 2. Green Bay Packers 3. Dallas Cowboys 4. Buffalo Bills 5. Jacksonville Bulls
  9. This is boss. A league map would be cool to see.
  10. You mean like this one that would involve copious relocations? EAST Birmingham Stallions (Dolphins, Cowboys) Hartford Generals (Patriots, Eagles) Norfolk Defenders (Bills, Washington) Raleigh Breakers (Jets, Giants) NORTH Columbus Panthers (Bengals, Lions) Milwaukee Maulers (Steelers, Packers) Omaha Renegades (Browns, Bears) St. Louis Battlehawks (Ravens, Vikings) SOUTH Louisville Gamblers (Colts, Panthers) Memphis Showboats (Titans, Falcons) Orlando Guardians (Jaguars, Buccaneers) San Antonio Brahmas (Texans, Saints) WEST Oklahoma Roughnecks (Chiefs, Cardinals) Portland Sea Dragons (Raiders, Seahawks) Salt Lake Stars (Broncos, 49ers) San Diego Vipers (Chargers, Rams)
  11. Diversity win! Super Bowl LVII will be the first Super Bowl in which both starting quarterbacks are African-American! Assuming Patrick Mahomes starts, anyway.
  12. Which uniform is the current Eagles? For the Broncos, it's obviously the top, but what about the Eagles?
  13. In Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers both lost to former XFL2 QBs. Brady lost to P. J. Walker (Houston Roughnecks --> Carolina Panthers) Rodgers lost to Taylor Heinicke (St. Louis BattleHawks --> Washington Commanders) Also of note, in new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett's first four games as a rookie, he threw 2 TDs and 7 INTs. Only four other QBs have thrown 2 or fewer TDs and 7 or more INTs in their first four games as a rookie: Bill Demory (a third-string Jet who only played because Joe Namath and Al Woodall got injured) (1 TD / 7 INT) Matt Robinson (another Jet who was supposed to be nothing more than Richard Todd's backup) (2 TD / 8 INT) Terry Luck (a one-and-done Brown who was supposed to just coach after a knee injury, but then came back) (1 TD / 7 INT) Ryan Leaf (needs no introduction) (1 TD / 8 INT) If you are a Steelers fan, I feel sorry for you.
  14. You've already got the Hotshots, though. Do these guys play in Tucson or something? Also, can you do the Seattle Dragons next?
