  1. https://news.sportslogos.net/2023/11/17/diamondbacks-unveil-four-new-uniforms-for-2024-exchange-sand-for-teal/baseball/ According to the article on this site, it's a cream color.
  2. Green pants! This should contrast very nicely with the Bills in their proper home uniform. Thank goodness we're not getting or black leggings again.
  3. Good. The rare mono-color combo that the players don't consider to be
  4. I always found white uniforms more interesting than color uniforms because you need to put more design into a white uniform: On a colored jersey, the color base can often carry the design, but with a white jersey, it's not that simple. That's the reason why there are teams like the Rangers, Flames, or Sabres that don't need shoulder yokes on the home jersey, but their road whites have them. The Rangers jersey is actually the best example of this -- the blue jersey is beautiful, but objectively it isn't that interesting of a design. The blue color is what draws attention to this jersey. But with the white jersey, you can't just copy/paste the same design from the blue and call it a day, there really wouldn't be much to that jersey. Part of this is rectified by the space between the stripes on the sleeves and hem. One of the most iconic shoulder yokes in hockey ties everything together. It's my favorite jersey in sports. I'm fine either way with whatever color teams wear at home, but every NHL game should feature at least one team wearing white. Because they're often designed better than their darker-colored counterparts.
  5. Why are the Utah Jazz leaking it? Is there a connection I'm missing?
  6. Which is still better than their orange primaries, especially when they wear white leggings with them.
  7. The NHL is just extremely traditional in its aesthetics. I mean, look at the playoff uniform rules and the near complete absence of color vs color (we also usually get only about couple dozen or so white-at home games per season across the entire league, and those are usually just showcasing special uniforms). Any amount of change is going to be met with resistance, that's just how it is.
  8. White facemasks would be great. But what they really need to do is shed the final remaining vestige of the previous era (if they haven't already). They wore this uniform last year and I have no idea if they're supposed to this year:
  9. Regarding helmets, a bigger problem to me is chrome helmets. These need to be banned:
  10. I'm just hoping and praying that the Rangers don't decide to wear their blue helmets on the road -- it would horribly clash with the red pants.
  11. I'm just hoping the Colts don't wear their "iNdIaNa nIgHtS" alternate for that game. That would put it in the conversation with Jags/Saints and Raiders/Lions for worst uniform matchups of the season.
  12. A lot of it probably has to do with the team who's leading the charge in making this a trend. The Hurricanes have consistently made baffling decisions for no apparent reason for several years now, and their decision to wear red helmets last season (and into the playoffs) ruffled a lot of feathers (mine included). I don't think the backlash would be as strong if a different team started doing it first. As others have mentioned, this isn't the first time there's been colored helmets with a white jersey. It's done all the time for outdoor or specialty games, as well as one-off games like when the Avalanche did it in their inaugural season Also, Mario Lemieux started his career wearing a yellow helmet with the Penguins' white jerseys (the only triple mismatch I could think of in NHL history)
  13. Honestly, if they're trying to reduce the amount of equipment they bring out to Sweden, this would have been a good opportunity for color vs color. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but Leafs in blue vs Wings in red would have been great contrast.
  14. The Canes trying to be quirky is one thing. An ORIGINAL SIX team should know better. Then again, this is the same team that partnered with Justin Bieber to create a gimmicky reversible BFBS jersey.
  15. Still feel like off-white was unnecessary, as were vest jerseys.
  16. What I don't get is why the home uniform is that vintage off-white color. Off-white makes sense for traditional franchises and/or traditional color schemes. It does not make sense with this modern color scheme. And I appreciate the effort, but "Diamondbacks" looks way too narrow on the red alternate. Other than that, I like the new uniforms. Was a bit shocked to see the snake-D return.
  17. I both love and hate how much the Hurricanes twitter account leans into their persona. It's actually infuriating.
  18. They don't need to make this throwback the primary, but my goodness does it make a good alternate. Please continue to wear this three times a year instead of that color rush set.
  19. As they say, you don't know how good you have it until it's gone.
  20. Ooh, that's against the Bears. The game might turn into a rout, but it'll look gorgeous.
  21. A bonus of repurposing the WFT look is that it would remove black from the uniforms, undoing the loophole that allows them to wear one of the worst uniforms of all time
