  1. The Rangers seem to be finally releasing the third jerseys that everyone's already seen. Interested to see what the schedule for the third jersey will be.
  2. I simply cannot consider supporting Arizona's new set until they wear something other than monochrome.
  3. It isn't, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show how the white throwback is supposed to be worn. It'll never happen outside of 2-3 players a game, but I applaud them for keeping proper socks alive. It really isn't necessary. Again, the whole point of the 49ers current uniforms is that they're basically what they wore in the 80s with a few minor tweaks. Plus, a red facemask will remind us 49ers fans of the dark ages, more than anything.
  4. That would be amazing, but I don't think Dallas has worn the proper silver pants with the white star uniforms since they reintroduced them.
  5. The 49ers have the perfect home, road, home throwback, road throwback lineup. They deployed it perfectly this year: Red primary at home, white primary on the road, red throwback for the home opener and Christmas, white throwback on Thanksgiving. Any other uniforms or changes simply aren't necessary.
  6. Who's insinuating that? Also, you don't have to call the 49ers uniforms full time throwbacks. They're just the primary uniforms. Are you trying to say that you want the 49ers to update to something more modern? Because if so, I completely disagree.
  7. That's fair. Strictly looking at the jersey and pants, I'm still not sold on blue pants though. Just my opinion.
  8. The way I see it, the Chargers are a team that has uniforms that protect themselves from sock shenanigans -- within the primary set, there is no way to match the pants color and sock color. Other examples of this are the Packers, Steelers, 49ers, Raiders, Giants, and Bucs. Adding blue pants would remove that protection. Even if they announce that they're going to wear yellow or white socks with the blue pants, I have no doubt that eventually they'd pair blue socks with it.
  9. https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/blackhawks-terminate-corey-perrys-contract-but-many-questions-remain-unanswered From Frank Seravalli today. Wonder how the presence of corporate partners influenced the Blackhawks' decision making here.
  10. This will be the third straight week where the Jags don't wear a single teal uniform component. At least this is the final time this season that they are permitted to wear black.
  11. They should wear the primary aqua against the Titans on MNF in Week 14 (please, please don't be all aqua).
  12. More evidence that they're taking a page out of the Cowboys' book. They're basically using the red jersey as an alternate: Prime time games, international games, never wearing it for a regular 1 PM home game.
  13. I mean I'm almost certain that they'd pair it with blue socks. By "leggings" I mean that the pants and socks are the same color (I don't mean that the "socks" are actually leggings that they wear underneath their pants). And I'd rather not have the Chargers in blue pants for that reason - they'd end up looking similar to the Dolphins' white over aqua combo. I know that combo has its fans, but I'm not one of them.
  14. Yeah and it's amazing. I'd much rather the team's primary look be stuck in the 80s then deal with the overdesigned mess of the early 00s uniforms.
  15. We have seen the Bucs red jersey one (1) time so far this season, with white pants. We have seen their primary dark combo, red over pewter, zero (0) times this season. Are the Bucs trying to become the Cowboys of the NFC South?
  16. Think that game's gonna have the same uniforms as last year's NFC Championship Game
  17. If I was making the list this would go straight into the "worst" pile: All white vs all navy with an unnecessary alternate helmet. Blech. Also, Cincy looks respectable here, but I've never been a fan of the Ravens in all black since the uniform has no stripes anywhere. Too much black in this matchup.
  18. Absolutely not. That's a one-way ticket to blue leggings. Completely unnecessary.
  19. Yeah seriously I'm left wondering what Corey Perry could possibly have done here to get his contract terminated. It was clear from the start that the Bedard rumor was not true, but it was too hilarious not to play into. Hopefully we get answers soon.
  20. Oh, how naive you are if you think the Eagles would wear black socks...
  21. It definitely isn't true, but by far the funniest rumor I've ever heard in hockey involving Corey Perry and Connor Bedard was all over Twitter today.
