So the guy in very bottom right is 24 years old and a GM of one of the teams.  That's not a big deal since the General Manager of the Two Time USFL Champions Birmingham Stallions is also 24.

- Said that had the San Antonio AAF game gone off as planned, they were expecting 40,000 people for that game. That was a bit of a surprise that they expected it to be that big, but based on how the games had been trending, I would have expected at least 28,000. 

- When asked about fan interaction, he said that the advantage that the USFL had was that the teams were right there in the same town full time. With teams operating out of Arlington with the XFL/UFL, it will be harder to get the same level of interaction in the communities but that they want to get something more than what happened last year. Moose mentioned the kid's zones that the USFL had, and seeing if they can do something similar. San Antonio being so close to DFW makes it easier to do something in town outside of game days, but they would not guarantee that they can make it happen. 

- Wade came out taking shots at every team in the league and said he wants his players to love the city that they are playing in. Pretty much a lot of coach speak, including the raw raw, "San Antonio is much better than Houston" schtick. 

-Moose said that the reason to go with XFL rules for extra points was that they felt USFL teams were playing it to safe with the extra point and just taking the kick. They wanted to get them to be more aggressive and so they tossed out the PAT. Also pointed out that going with two feet in bounds was due to wanting to prepare players for the NFL. He pointed out that the kickoff being from the 20 yard line probably helped Brandon Aubrey as much as his FG kicks did, because he was routinely hitting 5 yards inside the end zone from the 20. That ability is also why they went with the USFL kick over the XFL version.

DC United's primary home look should have red shorts and white socks as the first option. It's an unique look that was theirs alone when they started in MLS.

A&M have proven time and time again they don't deserve anything. They're probably cranky they actually have to play Texas again, because it's another game they have a good chance to lose (sarcasm).

They didn't include them last year either. At least my Crew jersey doesn't have it.

Does Notre Dame still get any bull:censored: privileges with the CFP that they did with the BCS? I still can’t believe they gained an automatic BCS bid every time they won ten games. 

Miami pulled out at the last minute due to their new ACC schedule. Otherwise this doesn't happen. Notre Dame also knows the worst they can finish us 11-1 to be considered for the playoffs. And even then, it might not be enough with their 2024 schedule.

Not sure if this was posted, but here's a good look at the original and revised Orlando City crests. I think this new crest was based of a Fraser Davidson design.

I think the contrasting sleeves would have worked with the raglan design. I also think that they should go that route as a way to tie into Arsenal.

The nod on the back of the neck is definitely a nice touch. If only the front of the shirt wasn't a nod to America's favorite blockhead.

 

I like the idea of using the stadium for your designs, but at some point there are other parts of Columbus that would have been better used when designing the shirt. I still like this design though. The only thing I don't like is that the black shorts from last year are only available in size S.

I feel like that Minnesota shirt would have looked better with a flat design star pattern instead of what looks like a sublimated print. St. Louis looks so boring and unfortunately I think that pattern will disappear most of the time.

Are the shorts green, or white? Because I haven't seen them yet. I'd expect them to be green, but seeing what happened with New England who's wearing the same template, who knows? 

I actually like this shirt, but the one thing that strikes me as wrong is using the Lamar Hunt memorial patch as a jock tag. Either put it on a sleeve, the back collar, or center it at the front of the jersey between the adidas logo and FC Dallas patch.

The game ball is officially released. Not sure who's making it, It's being made by Big Game. Most of the merchandise in the shop is still made by off brands, though Under Armour is supposed to eventually supply fan gear as well.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw just the shirt. They're using the same design as Bayern Munich, make sure the shorts match the sleeves!

That's what the Crew fans are saying. As much as MLS has crapped on their original team, Charlie Brown seems appropriate. 

Reported Crew home shirt. The Massive Reddit group posted links to Rally House that have since been killed. Not a bad look, but a surprise to be certain based on previous discussions about what the shirt was supposed to represent, as a "return to home" impression. I think this shirt would look better with black shorts than yellow, but we'll see. I don't like that the yellow is lighter with this shirt, but it's not that big a deal if it helps the design stand out. I can't make out what the wording is on the state silhouette, but based on teasers I believe it's the GPS coordinates for Lower.com Field. 

I also like that they have included the Spanish phrase, "Everyone's Invited". There had been issues with the Spanish speaking supporter groups and the front office all the way back to when the Hunt's were running the team.

I'm old and hate change.  Why can't everything just stay the same?  The next time some friggin' site makes an update "to improve user experience" that actually improves my experience, will be the first time. 

I've had to shrink the basketball court designs that I make when trying to load them into Imgur. But to be fair they're like 10500x6000 when they are saved as a PNG. I haven't had issues with any of my other images. 

Especially since teams can't overload like they can in college.
