Or at least make white pants with the same pattern as the red pants.

I wonder, given the surprise nature of the Buffs' uniforms today, will we see them styled similarly to how Jackson State was under Deion? Multiple new jerseys/styles over the course of the season?
The new set today wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, especially in regard to number visibility. I suppose the black outlines helped with that.
I'd expect them to look similar to how they normally do, rather than 5-6 jerseys and helmets. But seeing how Nike is more than happy to treat Minnesota with uniform options I could see them doing the same for Colorado.

Tempe would be interesting because it would end any plans the USFL might have to bring the Arizona Outlaws back, assuming the USFL ever decides to leave their hub system.
I can't see the USFL staying in hubs past 2024. Houston becomes a bit larger issue if the Roughnecks stay at Rice past 2024/2025. That's one more stadium the USFL won't have access to. Blocking off the other leagues from a city isn't the best way to go about picking locations either.

Is there an unwritten rule that Nebraska or Iowa aren't allowed to score 20+ points in the first game of the year?

I'm 100 percent behind college players making money, but I was really surprised to see an active USC player in a KFC commerical.
Not surprised that the Heisman winner is in Dr. Pepper commercials again this year.

Portland reportedly is out of the running. Nashville and Tempe are the two in contention if the XFL can't keep the team in Vegas.

I would almost prefer a move of the Sea Dragons to Portland and the Vipers elsewhere. But I have always liked the idea of the XFL at Providence Park.
The only team with poor enough attendance to require a move is Vegas. If the numbers didn't improve in 2024 I could see that as a reason to move.

As much as I like the idea, the Vipers moving to Portland probably won't work since the Timbers and Thorns are extremely protective when it comes to Providence Park.
The field can handle all three sharing since it's turf, but I'd agree that I can't see PTFC signing off on letting them play there. There's a reason Portland State plays in Hillsboro now instead of Providence Park.

I don’t love the new Fox college graphics, but I am far more annoyed that they continue to distort the picture aspect ratio to add in their ticker.
I don't know why they couldn't go with this instead, with the ticker below it removed.
I actually like the scorebug, with the exception of the font used for each team's nickname being part of the bug.
This bug is the best looking this year though.

I like the Chelsea kit, but if the shorts are gonna be Navy they'll need the pattern too. Otherwise royal shorts is the way to go.
Plain navy shorts would work, but I believe they will have the pattern as well.

But more than that doesn't the league have to approve it, etc?
Yes

It shouldn't be a surprise a college team beats the Texans to it, the no fun league has so many obstacles to get through uniform-wise. (Right?)
Yes, like the Titans owning the rights to the name and colors.

I thought the Texans were going to be the Houston football team to do this. Who would’ve thought the University of Houston would’ve jumped them to it haha.People have been doing concepts of a Houston Cougars/Oilers uniform for a while. I'm not surprised to see them get ahead of the Texans either.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUPS (2023-2024)
Group A: Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Copenhagen, Galatasaray
Group B: Sevilla, Arsenal, PSV, Lens
Group Napoli, Real Madrid, Braga, Union Berlin
Group Benfica, Inter Milan, RB Salzburg, Real Sociedad
Group E: Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, Celtic
Group F: PSG, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Newcastle
Group G: Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade, Young Boys
Group H: Barcelona, Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Royal Antwerp
Group F is the Group of Death, Group B is the Group of Mild Intrigue. Group A is almost the worst thing Manchester United could have hoped for. I don't see them winning one game against Munich, and the away match at Galatasaray will probably decide if they go through or if they're in Europa League again. All other groups you can probably pick the two to go through already, save for Group D because Real Sociedad could pull out a win they shouldn't get. Group H is a fight for that second slot. There's no way Barcelona shouldn't finish with 6 wins.

If the Browns are gonna use this at midfield for the second season in a row (which I don't mind), they need to go ahead and make this an official logo.
It's an official logo, they need to make it the primary logo.

NYRB definitely gave up years ago and are just using the team as a very weak advertising vehicle and not too interested in running a successful club. Especially with NYCFC in the mix. They really should've pivoted to being New Jersey's team, the way the Devils have always been, and work on the support that way. They rally do feel like Chivas USA. A team that doesn't really represent their home market trying to rep another area that doesn't care much about them and already has a team to support.
Sure NYCFC came after NYRB where LAG came before CDCUSA... it still is pretty close. And both are doomed to failure.
At least NYCFC seems to actually exist to their parent organization too.

Florida not having an orange-orange-white & and an orange-blue-orange game makes me sad. Never really cared for any of the other combinations, especially throwing in the alternate helmets, but they gotta rock the orange jerseys and pants at least a few times
Dumping OBO because of a few losses is pretty sad as well. It's one of their better looks, and they should wear it as often as possible.

I have noticed that the league is proliferated with "Film Study" QBs. These guys are terrible QB's on the field but in the QB Room, are the best at what they do, breaking down game film from a QB perspective. How else do you explain guys like Nate Sudfeld, David Blough, Tim Boyle, Matt Barkley, Brian Hoyer, Nathan Peterman, Trevor Seimian, Blaine Gabbert and Nick Mullens always getting jobs in the NFL? It's why Chase Daniel, Josh McCown and Chad Henne played for as long as they did. Basically a second (sometimes third if there's an assistant) QB Coach, but one in uniform.
Is this something the NFL needs at this point?
I didn't even realize Nathan Peterman is still in the league this year.

FC Cincinnati now 17-0-3 across all competitions at The Tickle this season (although two of the draws were being eliminated from tournaments on penalties, so on a technicality they are draws). A huge 3-0 victory over NYCFC tonight keeps them atop the Supporters Shield table. Its their 3rd game in 7 days and their 3rd of 5 in 14 days. On to Atlanta
As for Messi, im just laughing at anyone who is unhappy that he didnt start tonight and only played 30 minutes. You spend all this money to see him play in New Jersey and he doesnt even start. Hah. Dude is human. He's tired from carrying Miami through the Leagues Cup and US Open Cup. He needs rest too. At the same time its sad that more than likely 2/3 of Red Bull Arena was there to see Messi and not the Red Bulls. NYRB is such a pathetic organization.
If Red Bulls wanted to be taken seriously they could have grabbed a big name years ago. Their last true big name player that contributed was Thierry Henry.

How petty do you have to be to chase after someone you said you didn't want at your club anymore? I hope PSG gets relegated in the near future.

With all that dirt, are we sure this isn't just temporary and that there will be bleacher seats put in after the season? At least on the sides of the building, I'd expect something else to go in there.
