2017 MLS series (Chicago added)

So last year I did a 2016 series of MLS kits. So I'm back with the 2017 template. City seals (or state) are in top of collars and have no real them some will have city pride etc. 

 

Atlanta United FC

 

Home - Simple with a bit of detail within the stripe.

 

Away - Again kept simple and classy with thin pinstripes.

Chicago Fire

 

Home - The franchise is 20 years old in 2017 so the home kit is a modern rendition of the original kit with a sublimated hoop round the centre of the kit.

 

Away - The away kit uses the class flag of the city. The crest is recoloured and Adidas details are merged out to add to the simplicity of the kit.

The whole designs are a bit disproportionate if you get me,but design wise they look good

Are the numbers stretched? 

 

Anyhow, the away design is money.

 

The home would be fine if MLS were on one-year cycles like Euro leagues, because the occasional deviation from the traditional kit is fine for a season. But two years away from the Fire's traditional white chest stripe wouldn't be popular. The best thing the club has done recently is restore the white stripe to the chest. 

 

But in a vacuum it's a really nice shirt.
