NCAA soccer crest concepts - taking requests (AZ State 1.1 and 2.0 up)

Hi all. I was inspired by Pitt having their own crest for it's soccer team to create crests for other colleges. I started off with my future alma mater in ASU

It's still a work in progress but I wanted some feedback. I'm trying to get good at paint so I'm going to start making some and taking requests so I can practice. Any and all feedback is appreciated!

1. Make sure the line is straight towards the bottom.

2. Here's my suggestion-Stick with doing straight lines first, and then work your way into curve lines. I had the same problem when I started with Paint, but I eventually got better. So if I was you, I would turn the curved part into a point.

How's this? I also tried a darker maroon and gold

I also tried an edit of FC Barcelona's crest

pretty solid, but the top bit of your ASU logo looks kinda empty maybe slim it down or add some stripes? idk

I like it.  Would you be able to try a clearer version of that UM? It looks very grainy around the edges.
