WJMorris3
As time expires in the SEC Championship Game, Brodie Croyle hits wideout Matt Caddell with a touchdown pass to put the Tide up 20-19 against Georgia. If you are Alabama, do you go for one or two on the point-after attempt?(This is partially to see where your philosophy lies.)
Cyclopsis Joe
Alabama? In the SEC Championship?I don't think Alabama is allowed in a bowl game for the next 1000 years, why do they care if they win the SEC?But, back to topic: Go for the kick, the game's already over..going for a two-pointer is just to rub it in their face. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.

Nick 1733
I don't even kick it, I'd leave the field, game's over. Alabama wins. MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs
Fusebazell
I think he meant to say down 20-19 and besides we all know Georgia would be up big in that situation so why even speculate about something that will never happen.
WJMorris3
I'll say that I actually did mean winning 20-19, pending the PAT.

WJMorris3
First of all, I'll note that if Georgia does not leave the field, Alabama must attempt the extra point.

WJMorris3
See, I agree with JRH. By kneeling the ball, you prevent any chance of Georgia returning the blocked kick/two-point conversion for a score, and guarantee victory.

Can you return an extra point attempt in college, or is it a dead ball?
slapshot
You can in college. If you return a 2-point conversion, you get 2 points. If you return a blocked PAT, it's one.I almost saw a 2-point return, but the player was caught from behind and tackled at the 1. On the other end of the field. WJMorris3
Actually, JP, by NCAA rules, the way I read it, the returned kick for TD is 2 as well, as you'd normally score a touchdown on the play.
