winters in buffalo
Well, I think it's too early for power ranking to be accurate. I use stats, and only stats because otherwise I'd be biased in how I ranked everyone. I agree, the Eagles are better than the Jets, but in the first 2 weeks, the Jets put up better numbers. Gary
and that is why they are ranked higher
See Red
You need to find a way to incorporate the average ranking of the defenses they played and the average ranking of offense they played. To say the Jets are better because they played poor defenses isn't near accurate.
Gary
well the Eagles defense is #24 in the League
See Red
They've also given up less points then 24 other teams. And have scored more points than 29 other teams. Sure the Jets have scored more points, but playing the Bengals and Chargers wll have that effect. I'm not saying the Eagles have played defensive powerhouses, but surely a team that gives up 14 ppg on defense is better defensively than a team that gives up 26 ppg. No matter what the yardage says. Gary
well I am sticking to my guns and I will still say that the Jets are number 3, until the day that the Eagles move up to number 3, 2, or 1 then I will give them there due props but be glad that they are number 4 and not last.
