Putting a Name and Number on a Sox Jersey

Buckner was #6.

Yeah, in 1986. But in 1984 he was #16.

Mmmhhh... in my situation, I'm going to like that #23... Tiant, Oil Can Boyd... those guys are very colorful.

Or #18, Johnny "Jesus Christ" Damon.

Damn, I don't know which number choose... one from the Red Sox past or one from the current and historic World Champions.

Maybe I'm going with the #23 and in a future, I'll buy a Red Sox road jersey with the #18 because the biggest victories in 2004 were in road (Games 6 and 7 of the ALCS and games 3 and 4 of the WS).

7 would be good, worn by Trot Nixon this year, and Dom DiMaggio in the 40's.

There was no bigger game this year than game 4 of the ALCS. Without that win, I'm not wearing a 2004 world Series Champions hat. Hard to find it, but rewarding. B)

Yes, but it was sooo sweet winning against the Yankees in the Yankee Stadium using road jerseys. ;)

I've still a big smile everytime when I recall that...!!!
