Bearcats
I still am unable to do it. I don't see a text tool.I tried adding MS Word wordart but it will only go behind the jersey, not in front, and it doesn't look good.More detailed instructions would be helpful. Bearcats
OK I've found the text tool, but the text doesn't show up on the jersey. I can't tell if it's going behind or just not working.?
The Green Meanie
If you're using Illustrator, you need to select the text tool, click in the area, type, click select the black arrow (not white), select the text, go up to the taskbar and select Object>Arrange>Bring to front. That should do it.

Bearcats
Not one single person on this board can help me. It seems like everyone has mastered Illustrator, but no one is willing to help me out.?

bhambruiser
i'm sure if we could reach through the screen and see what you are doing, it would be easier...but what was suggested should have fixed the problem. select the text tool and while the text layer is selected go to OBJECT>Arrange>Bring to Front....that should help, just make sure the text layer is selected
Bearcats
I'll keep trying but for some reason what's been suggested isn't working. This is my first time using Illustrator. The tutorial isn't helping me either.
eriqjaffe
Are you sure the text has a fill and/or stroke? If it doesn't, you might not see anything.
