I saw the old Cyclones roadies and they reek of company softball. The new ones are pretty good, albeit a bit generic.

I've always liked their caps though. Something old, something new(er).

Not bad. A big improvement, if nothing else.

The old road script stunk (it's the one in the corner of the top photo, minus ".com." This new one's not bad. It also works with the home unis, red script and all.

Is it a real vest, like the home alts? Or a phony vest, like the old roads?

As for the cap, I still think they dropped the ball. They could have worn the best unused cap logo in baseball, but they had to add the goofy "c" to it.

The Brooklyn B isn't a whole lot different than the Boston B.

i think their hats would work if the 'c' is put in the same font as the 'b'

as it is now, it just looks weird. as i recall, the la dodgers still own the brooklyn dodgers identity, so the cyclones couldn't just use the 'b' by itself.

Upon further inspection, it looks like these jerseys are somewhat inspired by the 1936 Dodger jerseys:

I'm not crazy about the Cyclones de-emphasizing the navy in their color scheme.
