DG_ThenNowForever
I compare the Red Sox navy to the Cardinal's road navy. The Yanks' is darker. Actually the Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, Cardinals and Angels all use the SAME Navy. In print, textiles, thread, process simulation colors, etc. Back in 2003, MLB started calling this color "Midnight Navy Blue".
pcgd
A big part of it is indoor lighting vs. outdoor lighting. We had some "navy" blue printing done, and inside it looked purple. I took them outside and they were indeed navy.Happens with Reflex Blue alot. Screen it at all it turns purple. But in its 100% form its very much a royal blue. Colors are weird.
