Here's trivia on top of trivia....Who was the Colts quarterback for most of that season? I believe it was the Browns who beat the Colts and Earl Morrall was the Colts QB most of the season. Earl Morall also was at QB for the Dolphins for a good part of the 1972 undefeated season. Griese broke his leg I think and Morall stepped in. Yeah, I know Morrall started for the Colts in Super Bowl III, so I'm assuming he started most of the season for Baltimore as well. I guess Unitas was already washed up by '68. That team was also coached by Don Shula, head coach of the '72 Dolphins of course. So was Shula the reason why Morrall was in Miami in '72, cause of Shula already being there?
