Slater
http://www.chargers.com/history/uniforms.cfmI was reading the history of the Chargers' uniforms on the above team site. Was the "Collegiate Blue" shade ever used by any other NFL team at any time?
slapshot
The Houston Oilers wore Columbia blue, which is close to Collegiate ("Dennis") blue. Columbia might be a little bit lighter, enough to notice the difference. Detroit also wears a lighter shade of blue, Honolulu blue, but I think it's also darker than San Diego's. Yes, Honolulu blue is a bit darker. Beautiful color though, shame to see the black in that set On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) TruColor
We had a thread about this a few months ago, and I put this together in order to show the differences:Remember that these shades get changed all the time. For example, the Lions' Honolulu Blue has changed twice since the late '80s...so has the Dolphins' Aqua.
slapshot
By Pantone's chart, I'd say that the Carolina Panthers' blue is the closest to San Diego's. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
