On the new one there are just random orange shadows while on the old one it really works because the orange looks like the glare from a blast furnace. It is classier and less cartooney. Otherwise, the perspective of every element looks not only unappealing, but also incongruous to other elements in the logo. (Is that hockey stick bent between his hands?) Of course, the London Racers still rock all when it comes to British Elite League logos. The guy looks much more dignified in the old one, especially with the glare of the furnace on him. The new one is just another attempt to make all logos look like a Marvel comic.
