boardname
Usually I am leading the "adding black for black's sake SUCKS" camp.. but I really like the Celtics black alts.. really look sharp.
ProvidenceRI
The Celtics alts look like practice jerseys.I don't mind the Lakers alts because they keep the same form as the other jerseys.I'd rather see green and gold celtics alts in the same format as their other jerseys. How about that Ryan Gomes? BJ Sands
(and we wonder why people leave this board.) wow, you took that as a shot? I'm not sensitive to that kind of thing but some people might be. And two people pointed it out, not just one.Back to the topic, I just think that when two teams have combined for soooo much history in certain color combos they should always wear those when they play each other. Especially when the yellow of the Lakers and (untouched) green of the Celtics are the colors. I agree, but it still isn't the same with the Lakers wearing those bastardized versions of their classic jerseys. It is a "modernization" that I can live with, but it was completely unnecessary. At least it has the right colors. (The Lakers jersey)
SnapHook
I'd rather see green and gold celtics alts in the same format as their other jerseys. You'll see them on March 12 vs Denver...and Gomes is SOLID
HatManTC
No, they are different. Michigan's maize is truly maize. I think Minnesota has a more orangish yellow. Maize- i am just gonna start calling it corn yellow. by RoscoeUA by gingerbreadman
