totc
A few years ago, Georgia Tech out-and-out counterfeited the New York Yankees. Not a single thread of gold in the entire set of uniforms. Interlocking GT at home, and "TECH" on the road. For the past few years, The College of New Jersey (or the instutition formerly known as Trenton State College) has been doing the same: an interlocking NJ at home, and NEW JERSEY on the road. Now, didn't Cal State Long Beach copy the Minnesota Twins at one juncture? Gothamite
who cares if the cap doesn't match the lettering...i.e. Nationals, even the St. Louis Cardinals' STL isn't anything like how it's spelled using the jersey font. NOT.THE SAME. Nope, not the same at all.The difference is that everything on the Nationals' uniforms is conformed within an inch of its life.Everything matches except the cap logo. With teams like the Cards, they have a different typeface for the names on the back and the script on the front and the cap logo. But they all compliment each other. That's the difference. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
totc
One thing to be said: I can't remember ever seeing the word "Terrapins" ever spelled out on a University of Maryland jersey as a primary wordmark. It's been the "M", "Terps," or "Maryland."
