I like this idea of pointing out flawed logos. I've learned some things; however, a lot of these comments are quite petty.

As for the Commandos (which is a pretty lame name), I don't think there has to be a military base in DC for someone to see the connection between the name Commando and the city/region where the country's miliary is headquartered.

Regardless, you should check again, Geoff... there is a base in DC: Bollings AFB. It's been a base since before WWII, so you must have last checked a long time ago.

That Orioles logo ALWAYS bothered me for the excessive use of green when green's not even a team color.

Come on... not only is the blue border discontinued at the top of the circle, but they have two fonts that not only look terrible but illegible.

I always thought the Lightening logo would be so much better without any text. Just a simple circle with the bolt.
