Krona Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 (JUNE 2005) that san diego octopi concept eerily reminded me of a concept i did about six weeks ago. this is still in the sketch stages, but i have full unis as well. devil fish is another name for the octopus. i always loved the animal for a mascot, just hated the name: ***********UPDATE****************All the talk about the LA NFL team got me thinking about an old concept i never quite finished. I'm revisting my Los Angeles Devilfish idea. I've learned a lot in the last 18 months, and have felt the true power of CS2.Not a single comment last time, so hopefully this will get some feedback: I tried some subtle hints to have the head double as a football (seams/highlights, spots/laces). Not sure on the secondary logo, it's a little far-out. Anyway, I'd love to see uniforms of this. Especially to see the use of tentacles in the striping. Maybe even put a tentacle as a replacement to the red stripe on the helmet. You know, I rarely visit ccslsc anymore. I really should fix that. I agree on a red facemask but I dont think the football is that bad...maybe make it fit in a bit more. As for the alt logo I would like to see something like the alt on the first one only with LA, DevilFish or something along those lines. Only thing I dont like is how on the new helmet logo the head looks more like the Starship Enterprise rather than a football. Maybe change the lines up a bit or make it more oval.
