dutyfree
You know, I used to love watching Bill Walton, in his prime, play basketball (think 1976 Blazers championship). He was amazing. Unselfish. Athletic. Such focus. Riveting. And I respected him as an iconoclast. He was such a unique individual. Unapologetically himself. But, man.....he's become unbearable. I tried listening to his podcast on espn.com. Who is he? And why is he acting so strange?
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
He's been "so strange" for forever, I think. I don't know exactly what you're referring to, but he used to have regular NBA columns on ESPN.com littered with Grateful Dead quotes throughout. It was really annoying. He sees himself as some kind of latter-day hippie, and even worse, thinks people enjoy his schtick. I don't get it either. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

leedsunited
I haven't actually watched an NBA broadcast on NBC in years. Part of the reason was that annoying, baked sasquatch of a man.
