  1. The proposed Everton badge is way, way better than the one they ended up going with.
  2. Probably doesn't matter, because these things usually don't when it comes to the Patriots, but that was one of Matt Walsh's lies that he later recanted on, just like the walkthrough that was never filmed, and all kinds of other bull :censored: that was fake that came from a lot of poor reporting about the initial stuff.
  3. Keep in mind that the first report was "the entire first quarter", which was a bold faced lie by people with ESPN. Now, the unofficial report is it's 8 minutes. Now, if that number even holds, which again, given the way this :censored: gets reported, I have my doubts on... that would not be 8 minutes of clock ticking off. That would be including breaks during commercial breaks, gaps in play when the' clock's dead, etc. This is...maybe a series? (Honestly, I went to game pass to look, but even in their full replay, they cut a lot of that :censored: out). If the scout is doing his job, during a first series, he's probably not looking over at the camera. They're oblivious, shooting what he's looking at. It's either one dumbass camera guy or the dumbest, most blatant :censored:ing front office in the history of the NFL.
  4. I know the Pats aren't popular here, but let's be realistic. Would it be more likely that they would fake a documentary series, produce several episodes, get permission from a team they've already played this season(who were not suspicious at all), dress in team gear, just to spy on a 1-12 team that is trying to lose and would likely put their playcalls on the jumbo-tron if asked.... or that in making a fluff PR docu series, the camera guy was kind of a dumbass? And if they were going to try this, and be relatively blatant about it, why would they do the Bengals and not the Ravens or the Chiefs, who they'd play again in the playoffs? By all means, fine the team for someone on the Kraft Productions team being this stupid and for not getting the Bengals permission as well, hell, fine the scout for not keeping an eye on the camera guy, but this is a goddamn reach even for this thread's standards.
  5. Let's be honest, there's a lot of salt and toxicity in these threads. The Pats have overcome a lot of bad calls, this year and prior years, which gives the impression that they get all the calls, because they have overcame them and other teams have not. The stats have never borne it out that the Pats are the "poster child" or any other bull that's been spewed in this thread. When the Pats can't overcome 3 TD :censored:ups in 5 minutes and the officials sway a game that could have a :censored:ing great overtime because you were looking at the team that had played the best most of the game against a team that had momentum coming their way, and Pats fans get upset, you get a lot of this :censored:.
  6. I love, love, love the one-off Purdue moon uniforms.
  7. The Arizona blue uniforms are so ugly. There's no contrast between the shades of navy and red and the number font is awful.
  8. There have been some rumblings especially with them going into a new stadium. I know at the beginning of the season, the team tweeted the players looking at color swatches, but I think that may have been for something else. If they do any kind of change, I think we'll see an alt with the Dodgers knockoff script. It's really popular still among the fanbase. Not to supplant any main identity, but a throwback-inspired alt.
  9. Careful, you're being an "internet tough guy" again.
  10. White over gray vs. gray over gray is not a great look when it comes to contrast.
  11. New England Patriots - I think their current uniforms are dated and have been, but their "dirty white" silver alternates from a few years ago were the absolute nadir. Texas Rangers - the black drop shadow years. Texas Longhorns - the Red River Rivalry uniforms with ugly gold trim.
  12. You can debate without being a dismissive jerk.
  13. This is a myth. Their TV ratings are on the lower end.
  14. You know what would be a great move for Tampa? Not this.
  15. Well that was a fun few hours.
  16. This strikes me as just absolutely cuckoo. You'll be playing in two bad stadium situations and be half-committed to each market?
  17. I would say they still haven't. Sure, the name is better, but it's the edgelord version of their old identity without any of the charm.
  18. Because it doesn't stand to any genuine logic. If you loved KB Toys, you can't just name your new business KB Toys. That one is gone, and someone owns the rights. It doesn't matter "how much it meant to the community", that BUSINESS is gone.
  19. That's not how businesses work.
  20. The people in the costumes are either singers, athletes, actors, reality personalities, etc. Some are professional performers but a lot are not. The first person unmasked this week was Antonio Brown, who was the Hippo. The deer is definitely a quarterback, which leads to said speculation.
  21. My fiance wanted to watch the Masked Singer. It's not good, but it kills time. I had the Deer pegged as Andrew Luck. Current division rival to the Ravens, likes Horses, and seemed to be around the right size.
  22. The OSU program can 100% get :censored:ed, and more than just on the program, them winning the National Championship with a convicted :censored:ing child molester on the team stains all of college baseball.
  23. Nope. While my ex-wife very much got into my love of sports, my fiancee does not get any of it. She'll even watch me play any video game, except for sports ones. She does have some interest in soccer, with her being a first generation immigrant from England, but even then I think it's more in regard to her memories with her father than a genuine enjoyment.
  24. I'm not usually a get off my lawn kind of old person.... but REALLY?
