  1. Wasn't expecting this to break on a random Sunday night...
  2. Lions/Falcons might be the ugliest game, aesthetically, in NFL history. There is nothing redeeming about either set (and I don't mind the Lions other sets), but the all gray against that gradient nightmare... yikes.
  3. No, the new look is the single worst identity in NFL history. The old one was ugly, but this new one is :censored:ing abhorrent.
  4. The shorts not having matching stripes is ridiculous, the single color pinstripes is not the route they should have gone, and that font is so :censored:ing ugly.
  5. You're going to come back at me with that energy? I'm not trying to get banned. It's an awful, awful "abbreviation" that doesn't mean :censored: all to anybody who isn't directly from that area. On top of that, it's not an abbreviation for a city, it's a goddamn AIRPORT CODE. WHAT ABOUT HORNETS OR CHARLOTTE? NOT BUZZ CITY, NOT STUPID :censored:ING CLT. Jesus :censored:ing Christ.
  6. Wait.. people WANT "CLT" on their jerseys? Like you would wear something that says CLT? ...the :censored:?
  7. The hyperbole and toxicity in this thread reminds me why I don't hang out in this part of the boards anymore.
  8. I'm not sure if you know what the leotard look is. Both the pants and the socks have stripes on them. It's more than fine and I don't disagree that they should have an alternate color socks to them because it can be too much blue, but that's very much not leotard. Leotard is the same color socks with stripeless pants. This is not what the Patriots are doing.
  9. I would not be opposed to the midnight green if it wasn't so close in tone with the black. And the font and the treatment of the font with the big ugly drop shadow are just plain booty.
  10. The proposed Everton badge is way, way better than the one they ended up going with.
  11. Probably doesn't matter, because these things usually don't when it comes to the Patriots, but that was one of Matt Walsh's lies that he later recanted on, just like the walkthrough that was never filmed, and all kinds of other bull :censored: that was fake that came from a lot of poor reporting about the initial stuff.
  12. Keep in mind that the first report was "the entire first quarter", which was a bold faced lie by people with ESPN. Now, the unofficial report is it's 8 minutes. Now, if that number even holds, which again, given the way this :censored: gets reported, I have my doubts on... that would not be 8 minutes of clock ticking off. That would be including breaks during commercial breaks, gaps in play when the' clock's dead, etc. This is...maybe a series? (Honestly, I went to game pass to look, but even in their full replay, they cut a lot of that :censored: out). If the scout is doing his job, during a first series, he's probably not looking over at the camera. They're oblivious, shooting what he's looking at. It's either one dumbass camera guy or the dumbest, most blatant :censored:ing front office in the history of the NFL.
  13. I know the Pats aren't popular here, but let's be realistic. Would it be more likely that they would fake a documentary series, produce several episodes, get permission from a team they've already played this season(who were not suspicious at all), dress in team gear, just to spy on a 1-12 team that is trying to lose and would likely put their playcalls on the jumbo-tron if asked.... or that in making a fluff PR docu series, the camera guy was kind of a dumbass? And if they were going to try this, and be relatively blatant about it, why would they do the Bengals and not the Ravens or the Chiefs, who they'd play again in the playoffs? By all means, fine the team for someone on the Kraft Productions team being this stupid and for not getting the Bengals permission as well, hell, fine the scout for not keeping an eye on the camera guy, but this is a goddamn reach even for this thread's standards.
  14. Let's be honest, there's a lot of salt and toxicity in these threads. The Pats have overcome a lot of bad calls, this year and prior years, which gives the impression that they get all the calls, because they have overcame them and other teams have not. The stats have never borne it out that the Pats are the "poster child" or any other bull that's been spewed in this thread. When the Pats can't overcome 3 TD :censored:ups in 5 minutes and the officials sway a game that could have a :censored:ing great overtime because you were looking at the team that had played the best most of the game against a team that had momentum coming their way, and Pats fans get upset, you get a lot of this :censored:.
  15. I love, love, love the one-off Purdue moon uniforms.
  16. The Arizona blue uniforms are so ugly. There's no contrast between the shades of navy and red and the number font is awful.
  17. There have been some rumblings especially with them going into a new stadium. I know at the beginning of the season, the team tweeted the players looking at color swatches, but I think that may have been for something else. If they do any kind of change, I think we'll see an alt with the Dodgers knockoff script. It's really popular still among the fanbase. Not to supplant any main identity, but a throwback-inspired alt.
  18. Careful, you're being an "internet tough guy" again.
  19. White over gray vs. gray over gray is not a great look when it comes to contrast.
  20. New England Patriots - I think their current uniforms are dated and have been, but their "dirty white" silver alternates from a few years ago were the absolute nadir. Texas Rangers - the black drop shadow years. Texas Longhorns - the Red River Rivalry uniforms with ugly gold trim.
