it is pretty good. Still bugs me that they let Savard go like that, bet Altlanta's laughing now that he has 41 points so far this season. (He just has to stop getting hurt!) Too bad he never caught on with Calgary.

You think if they do get Jagr (which is what the news would have us believe) it would do anything to change their fortunes?

No the Jagr deal will keep the Rangers on the same course of overpaid over the hill and overrated players who cant play together as team and end up playing with no heart.

I guess teh Rangers forgot what defense is, since 3 of their top defenseman are hurt so lets remdy that by getting another washed up former MVP.

OK, how the hell can you complain about the Jagr deal? You can throw the what-if's about defensemen and all that out, but lets look at this:

Who would you rather have, Jagr or Carter?

And I would choose Jagr obviously, 'cause Jagr on 50% is still better then Anson. The Rangers don't care about money, so forget about that.

The Rangers are a better team because of the trade.

So shut the :censored: up and quit complaining and bi*ching! Your team is better! They'll end up with a defensive cast-off from another team, and can easily make the playoffs.

Only Rangers fans can complain about their team getting the better part of a trade...

I brought into the team getting better so many times before, Im sick of it they spend spend spend, and dont care about chemistry.

The Rangers are bad for hockey, and this trade will not get them into the playoffs.

Its like teh Blue Jays last season. Sure, they had some decent batting. But behind Doc Halliday, they had no pitching! you need a good balance to get by, and if the NHL has proven anything in the past few years, a good defence is better than a great offense any year

Balance is the key. The Rangers are mediocre at goal and terrible at defense especially with the recent wave of injuries.

The Rangers keep just adding a list of names, how do we know Jagr will even fit in with the team Anson Carter and Kovalev have been terrible as there is no chemistry what so ever, the team contionues to make lousy passes, and look sloppy all over the place with Jagr it will be more of teh same.

I wonder if Jagr wishes he stayed in Pittsburgh?  I wonder if the Penguins wished they had Jagr to fill the seats and keep the little hope alive for a new rink in Pitt.

As for the Rangers... using Steinbrenner's idea to overpay to buy a championship doesn't work and now you've hiked up the salaries in the league to the point where the team can be partially to blame for the labor impass that will happen next September.

Sorry, I'm still sick.  The meds playing with my mind.   :P
