STL_Ian
I didn't really want to start this topic, but it's driving me nuts. On Saturday night, the Blackhawks' Patrick Sharp scored 2 short-handed goals in the 3rd period to beat the Blues. Nowhere have I been able to find when the last time was that an NHL player accomplished said feat. Clearly, for someone to do it in the same game is rare, much less the same period. Is there anywhere that an average joe can find out this kind of stat?
HedleyLamarr
Last season (or two seasons ago), Marian Hossa nearly had a short-handed hat-trick against the Devils. I don't remember if his two goals were in the same period or not....
oakland ehs
Ethan Moreau had two shorties against PHilly a couple years ago, but I don't think it was in the same period.
steiny_ramone
Tom Fitzgerald scored twice on the same penalty, IIRC. facespace?http://www.myspace.com/seancalcottmusic http://www.myspace.com/forgottentoys
Erik121
Steve Sullivan scored 2 against Colorado on January 26, 2001, but they were in different periods. He was the last Blackhawk to have 2 in the same game.
