bods39
I really want to e-mail this guy and tell him the '98 Olympic jerseys did NOT have the IIHF logo on them and that his nameplate font is incorrect.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....y=27284
slapshot
What'w wrong with the jersey? Aside from the IIHF patch which you say was not on the Olympics...the nameplate font looks correct...Compacta 130% horiz scaled. bods39
all '98 olympic jerseys used a sans serif full block font for their nameplates and did not have the IIHF patch. I guess I'm just too picky about these things, autographed or not I want itto be accurate.

Roger Clemente
Maybe he just meant to say 2002 instead of 1998.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. bods39
the jersey itself is fine, it's a real nike jersey they justadded a IIHF patch, which was not worn on Olympicjerseys and the nameplate font is incorrect. It should be a block/fullblock san serif font.I checked the Steiner Sports site, where this item is supposedto originate from. They have a Chelios 2002 USA jersey also with a IIHF patch but a Mario 2002 Canada jersey without.I can only deduce that Steiner is either ignorant that there products are inaccurate and inconsistent OR they have seperate licensing agreements, one with IIHF and one withCanadian Hockey.
