Usually wearing blue & white, I like the new french red jersey

The spanish one is nice too, but yellow with white shirts is a bit... I think that it'll be better with black shirts

Both used quite unconventional colours... I do not remember Spain playing in yellow ever, but this design and combination are quite good. More here.

As to France, there is a small piece of history that Adidas could have looked up before introducing red. It was 1906, yes - 100 years ago, when Les Bleus played in red and lost 0-15 to England - link.

Yellow and white just don't look good together -- whether it's Spain, Brazil, Georgia Tech's football team, or The Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore.

But that's just me.

Am I the only one who feels that France missed a golden opportunity to add a little more white to the kit to mimic their country's flag in a subtle way?

Personally, I like the new French away shirt. In fact, I'm planning on ordering one. IMO, it looks far superior to their home kit (which is an abomination).
