OCE
Can someone who understands the UEFA/FIFA dress regulations tell me why Man U and Chelsea (Cheatski) aren't wearing their usual socks (black for MUFC white for CFC)?Is there some secret rule that dark shorts must be paired with dark socks and vice versa? The UEFA kit regulation handbook is no help on this topic. It would be fantastic to see teams permitted to wear their usual strip in Europe! OCE
United picked the kit they wear, Chelsea has to clash.Do you think they wore white socks just so Chelsea couldn't wear white socks? LOL...BTW, these two bunches of clowns should be banned for repeatedly putting on rubbish cup finals.
heernumurr
If United (scum) did get to choose, then I'd be pretty confident in saying that they went with white socks because that's what they wore in 99. Seemed to work.
Gothamite
I wasn't aware that socks were part of the clash rule, when all other elements are different.... The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
