Stop posting trivia! We don't give a flying :censored: about this crap!

"Who sells peanuts in section 119 at Shea Stadium?"

Who gives a :censored:?

Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene, crispy and clean,

You can try, but then why, 'cause you can't intervene.

We be the outcast, down for the settle. Won't play the rock, won't play the pebble.

I really don't know where you are going with this...

It says right on the thread title that it's trivia...

If you are so dead set against trivia...

Don't read that particular thread...

It's not that hard to avoid it if you really don't care for it...

As for me and a few others on here...I kinda enjoy the questions...

JMHO...

Oh, and by the way, the only answer I can come up with to your question is..."A peanut vendor!"

When Bobby Orr was asked why he always wore a cup

but not a helmet,he replied:"I can always get

someone else to do my thinking for me!"

It's the fact that Shea Stadium is crap, posting massisve amounts trivia is crap, and posting massive amounts of Shea Stadium trivia is big doo-doo.

You know, I rarely visit ccslsc anymore. I really should fix that.

At the point of being redundant, re-read my original post...

If you are one who doesn't care for this sort of thing...

You really don't have to read it...

Save your rant for another thread...trivia is not that evil!

Is it really trivia if the only reasonable way to answer the question is by doing research?

Good question...

I'm really not sure...

Let me look it up and I'll get back to you...

Your misuse of ellipses and style of

paragraph

is

neither

grammatically

socially

acceptable

It's not the reading of the trivia threads (especially Shea Stadium trivia) that bother people. It's the multitude of them that bother people.

1. When one of these trivia threads is created, it bumps a topic that's worthy of discussion off to the next page, as most of us know, a thread that's on the second page is one that's likely not going to be brought back.

2. As Will Morris has proven, a trivia thread can continue in one thread, and can update the sub-title of the topic to alert folks that there is a new trivia question up. If Tnak and JD could learn how to do this, there wouldn't be so much angst for these trivia threads, especially the Shea trivia.

This is the precise reason why there should be a trivia-only forum of the thread, or at least a consolidation of the polls forum.
