The Nation
The starting 5 for Toronto will be O'Neal/Bosh/Moon or Kapono/Parker/CalderonWith rebounding no longer a big concern, I think Moon will come off the bench and Kapono will start. The bench needs some work, as its not deep like Raptors teams of the past. You have6. Bargnani7. Moon or Kapono8. Delfino9. Joey Grahamand that is it. Braden
I'm sure Colangelo will get depth in Free Agency.Barnani, Moon & Delfino are very valuable off the bench... so there's not a whole lot they need to get in Free Agency.
MVP
Apparently TJ Ford was close to being dealt to the Bobcats instead, for Gerald Wallace. MJ balked when the Raptors asked for an additional draft pick in return.http://www.charlotte.com/sports/story/688312.html

Is it too early to throw around the BUST label yet?I would hope a #1 overall would fetch more value than a bench player.
highlanders08
So after reading numerous other things about this deal, as long as Jermaine O'Neal and TJ Ford stay healthy then I guess it could be a good deal for both teams, I just wish they hadn't given up their first round pick too. The team has two good PFs and only one starts, so I'd say it's too early.Besides, Manu Ginobili plays off the bench despite being far superior to Bruce Bowen and Michael Finley, so it's not always a bad thing. And knowing those 2, this deal will probably fail.
