TwoRsAndTwoLs
On my campus, the queer-straight alliance has an annual event called "Guess the Straight Person," meant to essentially show that stereotypes are not indicative of the whole of queer folk.I have taken it upon myself to design an advertisement for this event, and I am working on the major art piece for it (the rest of the ad will have time, date, place, sponsoring group, and other information). I want the design to be eye-catching but simple and grayscale.I came up with this:Which is allright, I think, but it's missing something. I attempted to use a font that reminds people of game shows, but I'm not sure this is the right one.C&C appreciated. Every Fifth Day is a
DelayedPenalty
The imagery is great, very nice. The font I think is lacking. I like the idea of the game show effect, but I don't think you hit the mark just yet. Check out TypeNow.net, they have a bunch of game show fonts, like Jeopardy and The Price is Right, ones that are familiar to most people.
Cola
yeah, the idea behind it is great...but the font is lacking, like mentioned above. also, the gal/guy wearing the shades sticks out a little too much...i'd remove it as well. other than that, some of the paths could be cleaned up but this is a good start.
