ebonin Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 Destin, Florida is one of my favorite vacation spots. I've always thought it would be cool if there was a baseball team based there. So that's where this idea came from. I figured that the Marlins would be the most logical team for them to be affiliated with, so I called them the Destin Marlins. Their look is very similar to the big-league team, I just changed up the logos and road script to represent the city.Tell me what you think. Is it too similar to the Florida Marlins? Second, I've noticed a couple mistakes. The home jersey is pinstriped on the front and not on the back. I'm not sure if its supposed to be like that but I sure hope not. Also the "D" in the Destin wordmark is way off. The placing looks really weird. Overall I say about a B-. Keep working and fix those things and this will be a solid concept. There are lots of minor league teams that look very similar to their parent club.As for the concepts the pinstripes on the sleeve should go the same way the sleeve does not up and down on the whole jersey.
