The USA is playing Russia today for a chance to advance to the Gold Medal Final. If you happen to find yourself needing a sports fix on Friday morning, the game can be viewed via Latvian TV here.

Spyboy,

Thank you for the links....

FTI - After watching the Americans lose late to Russia, guess what was on Latvia's Channel 3?

America's Funniest Home Videos - In English with Latvian dubbed over top trailing by a couple seconds....

Then the Latvian Nightly News

Then the movie "She's the Man" starring Amanda Bynes, also with both the English and Latvian overdub both audible.

Finally the signal was killed and streaming ended.

Don't ask me why I left Latvian TV on my computer for almost five hours other than I wondered what was going to be next, Andy Griffith, Laverne and Shirley, Melrose Place.......

You can watch Canada-Sweden on Universal Sports after the US loss to Russia, so tune in to Universal Sports in about 2 hours. Oh yeah, typical USA hockey. Get to the semi-finals and blow it. Oh yeah, we have the big blow hard Ron Wilson as head coach. That spells doom in Vancouver. Can we put him and his bed-buddy, Brian Burke out to pasture, their act is old. Give us a coach who can coach and win when it counts, not someone who's in bed with the GM.

So we're getting a Canada/Russia final... again.

Any predictions out there? I say Russia will repeat and Canadians will lose their minds and go into a completely unwarranted panic over our national hockey program. The key for Russia; Ilya Bryzgalov who is a UFA this summer I believe. Beware a Russian who needs a contract.
