TurnTwo
A couple months ago a fellow CCSLC member directed me to SmashingMagazine.com as a place to get graphic and web design inspiration, as well as some tutorials here and there. Ever since then, I've been hooked and have visited every day.A couple days ago they posted a nice article on the ten most common mistakes in logo design. I think it would be a good read for some of the younger guys here, as well as some of the more established designers. gingerbreadmann
I read it a couple of days ago, I think it is one of their more useful articles regarding logo design. Nothing groundbreaking but it's plain, simple, and effective. Good idea sharing it with the board! I love SM.
rockngoalie1
Weird, I StumbleUpon'd this today.I liked the link to www.logolounge.com too, showing all the different trends of the years to take into consideration or maybe avoid when making a logo. Definitely a good read. Maryland Terrapins Uniform Tracker
Jigga
Smashing Magazine is, well, smashing...If you're willing to drop a few bucks (okay more than a few), take a look at Before & After Magazine, too. andrewharrington
Smashing Mag itself can be pretty amateur at times, but those are (for the most part) legit points to take into consideration (not follow blindly like a checklist). I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]
