Sport
So, a person I know has started a business with a few buddies of his. The plan is to be college art brokers. I'm not even sure what that means, but it seems they're running a "fly by the seat of their pants" operation. This guy asked me to come up with a logo. I threw this together pretty quickly. I was going for the "generic art in a text or reference book look". I wanted something that conveyed the collegiate aspect while still incorporating the art element. And for the other I tried to incorporate the color of the "generic art" into a college style pennant. Let me know what you think
vmd9
Why do they spell Pikasso that way? I'm assuming it's a reference to Pablo Picasso? if so you should try to make it more abstract
Sport
Yeah, that's the way they spell it. I'm not sure why.
vmd9
Yeah, that's the way they spell it. I'm not sure why.Well as I can remember from Art History, the style you are using with the black strokes/colored squares has to do with Piet Mondrian. I mean it could relate, but I mean unless someone is graphic designer or something else they wouldn't make the connection.
Mings
If it is going to be Pikasso....use a style that Picasso worked in. Piet Mondrian/De Stijl doesn't work here at all.
Davidson
id try to convince the client to spell the name correctly. it just looks like a typo otherwise.
