kc51design Posted October 22, 2010 Share Posted October 22, 2010 when I first heard Dockers will be changing the look I was against it, thinking nobody has such a unique color scheme, and the logo is original as well, but now seeing this, I love the change, I love the simplicity and boldness of a logo. Love even more the fact that they can actually call themselves the Dockers again - they went as "Fremantle FC" for quite a stretch because of a legal dispute with Levi Strauss, who manufactures Dockers pants. I think all Footy teams should go for the simple look - All footy uniforms are always basic/minimal anyway so the team branding clashes when a team chooses an ultra modern looking logo.Also, AFL teams suck at using contemporary animal logos (i.e. Adelaide Crows, Essendon Bombers, Hawthorn being the exception).
