Bmac
Baseball is almost here! With that, I am working on my annual baseball concepts. This year they will be in Inkscape and I am customizing a template. I am adding a batting helmet and could use some input on what I have so far. The helmet is supposed to match the cap, and be in the same perspective, at an angle. The original cap looks like this. I adjusted the overall shape of the helmet and added an ear flap. Thoughts?I want to get this as close to perfect as possible before I start all of my concepts. Thanks for any feedback! https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
walkerws
I would say curve the brim and round the earflap.

scottysprings
The brim on most batting helmets protrudes outward from the shell much less than a 59-fifty brim and is more parabolic in shape than the 59-fifty brim.
Bmac
I re-worked a whole bunch of things, hopefully this is a little closer. https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
DeadFish
Not sure, but I think what's not working is the earflap shouldn't show all that padding from that angle. Changing it to a double earflap helmet might help too, it might just be me but the way it is sitting with one flap feels strange.
