And it's embarrassing for the rest of the Maritime teams because it only took them 6 years to do it while all other teams have been around longer and never did it (though the Granby Predateurs did win the Memorial Cup only two seasons before moving to Cape Breton, but no one counts it). OMMF Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 What a great game. We had a viewing party here in Seattle to watch the game and we were all happy for DeSerres. He had a bit of a rough time as a Thunderbird, sustaining a groin injury and then losing his starting job to Calvin Pickard, but we've rooted for him at every other stop and it's nice to see him, in his final game as a junior player, lift a trophy.
