yosefcoleman Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 HI guys, I am new to concepts so a lot of help, ideas, suggestions, criticism, and feedback would be much appreciated.I would like to thank athleticknit for letting me use their concepts for this seriesOk as you know the NHL just announced the World cup of Hockey so I think I am going to try making a concept series to show you what I think the uniforms for this event will look like.First up team Canada. Btw I have for the most part finished the Team Europe jersey. Really sorry for thatTake a screenshot of the work you do on the Athletic Knit website, upload it to Photobucket or a similar site, and then copy the link to use here on the boards.As for the actual concepts:Both are pretty plain. The lack of sleeve numbers and back numbers hurts the overall presentation. For Canada, I see where you're going and the jerseys they're based on were well-received. But I agree with New York's Greatest in that it would probably be best to use the Hockey Canada logo on the front. If you want to use logos on these jerseys, take screenshots like I mentioned above, then open those files up in Paint or another program and edit them. On the alternate, TEAM CANADA is just too long to use as diagonal text down the front.For Europe, I think you've got to pick one style of jersey and stick with it. The three different templates in the one set really throws things off. Plus, a different colour scheme might be a good idea considering you'll have Sweden coming up soon. Russia's hockey nickname is "The Big Red Machine", not 2-headed eagles! Also, they need a white uniform IMO, as well as a new template, like the Buffalo one (the fourth one, i think)Also, do you have paint? Photoshop?
