Colorado Rapids Rebrand

Here's a rebrand for one of the worst teams in MLS, the Colorado Rapids. They're my hometown team with a logo that's a little uninspired, so I figured I'd help 'em out by making a new logo, along with some new kits. Here are the results.

Perfection. This would be great re-brand as like you said their current brand is uninspiring.

Love it. The only thing that's slightly bothering me is the thick black outline on the shield. I'm curious how it'd look if you changed it to white and thinned it out just a little bit.

Gorgeous, just maybe a Little more light blue on shorts?

Given how simple the top part of the crest is, the bottom feels overly complicated with the thin wavy lines with ball on top. I'd suggest thickening the waves a bit (just about three white, three blue, all the same thickness) with the soccer ball on top. I'd also suggest working on the ball: make it something a bit more stylistic like the mountains, rather than literal.

 

I love your jersey template (probably because it looks a lot like mine) but your adidas shoulder stripes are about twice as thick as they should be.

 

It's a great start though. And don't give up on your Rapids, I feel like they might be a sleeper this year (as long as they bench Tim Howard).
