The new has the drop shadows on the elements on the shield but not the shield itself, so it has like faux-3D effect on a 2D shield. My only complaint is that there's no black in the logo representing New Zealand.Because the NRL Comission is now the governing body of rugby league for Australia alone and just happens to have a team from NZ in its two main competitions.
