  1. The other solution is expand the amount of teams in the World Cup and there has been some talk around that... Unfortunately, there is such a massive talent gap between the Old Boys Club, I mean tier 1 teams, and tier 2 teams, it would just be a gong show. The other problem is that the Old Boys Club controls World Rugby and anyone outside of that group does not want to expand the game and make it better. As long and Bill Beaumont is president, the game will never expand. I was really pissed when Rugby Canada elected him instead of the guy from Argentina, who had wanted to see more development in tier 2 and would have benefited Canada.
  2. They were the Ottawa Aces but they didn't come to fruition and were relocated to England and became Cornwall R.L.F.C and play in RFL League 1.
  3. Yes. There is a North America Rugby League in which the Toronto Wolfpack have transferred to but they are just trying to get off the ground and haven't really got established yet.
  4. The league just announced it's schedule and new kits will soon follow. Before that though, the league announced plans to expand to Chicago and they have announced their name. The Chicago Hounds: Nice to see some green in the league now as well. Before all of this though, the league did contract by 2 teams, losing the Los Angeles Giltinis and the Austin Gilgronis. They were found to be in numerous financial breaches and were suspended from last year's playoffs. Once the new kits are released, I'll post them.
  5. The qualifying tournament for the final spot for the World Cup between USA, Portugal, Hong Kong and Kenya.
  6. We can't leave Nike out of this either. They didn't think Canada would actually qualify so they didn't bother planning a new kit for them. I know the players are pissed as they have been covering the Nike logo on their kits.
  7. Well I don't know if this is fake or not but if this is true and comes to fruition, could be interesting...
  8. So something interesting from the Kraken. They will be introducing a thrid jersey for the 2023-24 season and there was a reason why the Metropolitians weren't used as a reverse retro. https://twitter.com/AliMurji1/status/1586395334137483266?s=20&t=hQiyPk2-6SR62bPf_x-DKQ
  9. The 6 Nations rugby championship is upon us and France has released their new kits:
  10. Recently purchased NHL23 and noticed on the game that the Royals no longer have their Tampa Bay Lightning template jerseys as their home and roads any more and now have their black and white alternates as the new home and road. For reference: New home and road:
  11. Osprey's new alternate kit. It has 77 colours that represent the 77 rugby clubs in the Osprey region.
  12. URC's Dragons charity shirt supporting mental health:
  13. Calgary Wranglers have released some teasers of their new jerseys. There's even a side profile of Blasty for their alternate logo.
  14. Leicester Tigers alternate third kit to be worn when their green and red home and away shirts would cause issues for fans with colour deficiency.
  15. Super Rugby in the Southern Hemisphere will be starting soon and here is the new kit from the Queensland Reds who will be kitted by Canterbury... Not a big fan of how large the Westpac Bank sponsor logo is though...
  16. Wales Women's kits for the World Cup: And Nike will be taking over South Africa's kit starting next year. They did an amazing job with Argentina and more recently Fiji, so here's hoping the do the same with the Spring Boks.
  17. Leinster away kit: Ulster alternate kit: and a new logo for The Sharks of the URC:
  18. Zebra Parma home and away: Section Paloise home and away: Clermont home & away
  19. The Women's Rugby World Cup is happening soon and the French have revealed their primary kit:
