Haas will reveal on Feb 2...we have all 10 dates.
Not sure what McLaren is doing on the 14th though. -

200% agreed.

I assume that the Alpha Tauri (as Alpha Tauri) just won't set a livery release date because of the switch to Racing Bulls as opposed to announcing the date they will announce the rebrand.
-
Out of nowhere (no date announced) McLaren just unveiled this year's livery.

This one is what the NLL fans on Reddit and various message boards are suggesting.
The rumor seems to be Montreal due to the neutral site game being played there.

Bobby Smyrniotis should take the job before he goes to the Canada NT.
I don't see why anyone who is with a job would take one in Montreal. You know you're only getting a season. Bobby should stick with forge if Montreal is the option.

I guess it's better than the microwave plate thing.

To no shock Messi is up for Newcomer of the year, despite only 6 MLS appearances with 1 goal and 2 assists (Tournament and international games dont count).
I mean.....the award description doesn't say how many games played.

Re: Bradley, tbh I thought he was gone years ago.
He's missed the better part of the last 2 years with injury so it's possible that's why, in your defense.

Went to the TFC game last night to see Bradley one last time.
The mentioned his retirement, Gabe him some leeway when he substituted out (and he handed the arm band to Osario and held his arm up..almost as if to anoint him the new captain) and, he took some time to say bye to the supporters after the game but it's really wasn't much.
BMO was mostly dead but after a horrible season and a cold night, I didn't expect much.
Bradley being gone really feels like the end of the MLS cup team despite them playing like it was over for a couple years.
I'm curious to see what Herman will do but he has his work cut out for him

I assumed that the WNBA would find a permanent home in the Coca-Cola Coliseum or Paramount Centre (sharing it with Raptors 905 makes some sense to me) while playing bigger games like home openers and playoff games at Scotiabank.
I admit that's 120% just my assumption and I didn't read that anywhere but it seems logical to me.

I wonder what the Bulldogs (OHL junior hockey) think considering they already moved for this season because of the renovations.
It's a 3 year deal with a single year extension possible (the move) but from what I understand they are pretty annoyed now knowing they could have stayed this year. It might hurt the teams chances to ever return. The owner originally wanted to build an arena at a shopping mall up the mountain with his money. He's publicly stated his plan would have been built by now and Brantford has been more than willing to renovate their arena to get the Bulldogs there. It'd be sad if Hamilton lost another hockey team but unsurprising considering the circumstances.
The Cebl's Honey Badgers were so annoyed they moved to Brampton permanently.
This whole thing has been a big screw up by city council who haven't been great at communicating (again. From what I've read).
I do think the new/renovated stadium and surrounding area will be a big boost for downtown whenever it's finally done. McMaster has been building a nice new building close by. King William Street (east of the mall attached to the arena) is a great area for restaurants, ect.
But man...the blunders in getting the arena done has hurt all this growth

All good news for the NLL.

Montreal player released after he moonlights in an amateur league in Quebec.
This has to be up there in terms of all time bonehead moves.

I just keep seeing a Hop when I look at it, not a Bison.
Looks like the Rock will get to play the whole season in Hamilton this year.

I still dislike the logo. I get what they were going for but nothing about this says Lacrosse to me.

Falling from first to second most popular beer in the U.S. isn't really failure but ok
Exactly.
They sell something like 45 million hectoliters worldwide annually.
Sales of Bud Light in the US alone top $300 million. (I'm sure the number will change before I click "submit reply" but I believe it was actually closer to $400 million in July.)
Sure, sales have slipped but it is not a failure by any stretch. It's still a very successful brand.- 5

It would make sense....but honestly, please don't.
I just wish these uniforms would go away.- 3

So weird that Hamilton has yellow pants with no stripe and yellow pants with the black stripe. They should always be wearing the one with the black stripe.
Giving this a "thumbs up" wasn't enough.
It's gotta be my biggest pet peeve in the CFL. (Hamilton's pants in general). They have the best overall uniform in the league in my opinion and if all the pants would have that stripe then it would be untouchable (again, my opinion). -

I have no knowledge of this to be a fact but I have a feeling the CPL has something up their sleeve.
Why would they willingly take the games off TV without a plan to have that replaced? There was still time left on the deal with Mediapro.
Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but I don't think this is the end at all. The league knew at start up it'd be years before making money. They knew it would be even longer after the "bubble season" due to covid. I doubt this would spell the end all of a sudden.
