Keeping the black labour day jersey makes sense....I just wish they changed it to match this new set. At least change the number font.
I really like the new set. Embracing the shoulder stripe look from the retro uniforms is a unique (to the CFL) look and using minimal black sets Calgary apart from Ottawa.
Good job Calgary.

Not sure how good the contrast will be with a dark gray kit and a black kit with red hoops
Agreed on this point.
I do like the hoops and agree that the V-only crest was the right way to go.

I don't understand why the claw mark thing is there on Valour's secondary but otherwise, Macron continues to, as @bigred5050 said, pump out some really nice stuff.
I constantly find myself saying "I gotta get that Forge jersey".- 2

The fact that Halifax can't even get their act together to bring in a CFL team (which only requires selling out 9 home games) should be a good indication that they're nowhere close to an NHL market.
I guess it's not really important but.....building or renovating/expanding Scotiabank Centre that would host more home dates (plus the NLL's Thunderbirds and the Q's Mooseheads) would actually make more sense than building a new football stadium which takes up more room and has less dates.
I'd argue that the city not getting a CFL team is not a reflection of how good of an NHL market it could be.
Moot in the end really as it's not happening regardless for either league.

Well.....this actually feels like a good fit. Good to hear.

Alonso just seems like new life was breathed into him with the team switch.
For sure!
At one point towards the end of the race he even said "This car is a pleasure to drive" on the radio. It's such a nice story and I hope he can keep it rolling all season.

Well....after all that BS in MSL: Owen Sound is "sitting out the season.".
There's literally no social media presence, no web site, no confirmation of an agreement for the team to play anywhere (the assumption would be at The Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre - home of the OHL's Attack).
Seems to me more and more that Joe Norton has no clue what he's doing. I wouldn't be surprised if this Owen Sound team never ends up playing a game. -

I don't think its about NLL vs PLL. The Championship Series is played with Olympic Sixes rules. If anything, its a test drive to see what kinks need worked out before 2028 when lacrosse will be at the Olympics
It's more about when its happening to me.
That said, I didn't even think of this. Good call and thanks for bringing it up.

They would of been better to approach the NLL and try and put at least one PLL All Star team into the NLL
Most NLL players play in PLL. Wouldn't work. They're on NLL teams already

This championship series thing still rubs me the wrong way.
The NLL changed their schedule to (mostly)be done in time for PLL after years of overlap with the MLL.Now PLL is deciding to just run an indoor tournament in the middle of the NLL season?
I admit, despite trying to get into it (especially when the Toronto/Hamilton Nationals were a thing in MLL), I'm not much of an outdoor fan (despite being a very big NLL and MSL fan) so maybe I'm missing something but it still feels like these 2 were getting along nicely and then this came to be.- 1

Does this put Indy 11 back in the conversation for MLS?

To answer the question I think is being asked; The Blue Bombers are technically a non profit organization but the Elks and Roughriders are both publicly owned teams. Edmonton having 80 shareholders and Saskatchewan having about 12000 shareholders.
The Alouettes have the lowest average attendance in the league besides for the Argos. The city has lost the CFL before and, if it weren't for the US expansion shutting down and the Baltimore CFL team moving to Montreal, I'm not even sure there'd currently be a CFL in Montreal.
Sure, they had some really great years when anthony calvillo was playing. They packed the place and won.
I sure don't want to see them dissappear. Don't get me wrong. But I am worried.
Yes I know....this coming from the Argos fan.

Free Agency has started going crazy and then yesterday this news came out:
https://www.cbc.ca/sports/football/cfl/cfl-montreal-alouettes-ownership-1.6747518
For the second time in 4 years the Alouettes are under league ownership.Things are not looking good in Montreal.

As expected. No need for any major changes.

seeing this: theres more changes than i thought at first for McLaren.
As for Aston Martin....almost exactly the same:
but I do like the new one a little better. Mostly because there's slightly less yellow (or highlighter or whatever that colour is called)

The red certainly is different for Alpha Tauri. Not a fan.

Replaced the white with black. "Meh".

Somehow just noticed this thread.....guess I've been too focused on the other one.
I really like William this year.

This weekend has a very weird new format.
Today was a qualifying session - for Sunday's race.
Tomorrow morning will be another qualifying session for tomorrow's sprint race
Sunday is the race.
I know there are people who don't like the sprint and whatever but this just seems silly to me.
I really liked the qualify for sprint-> sprint to qualify for race -> race format.
