God, this league is such a sham.

So do the Bucs bring back Blaine Gabbert? Use Kyle Trask? Trade for AR12, Russ or Deshaun? Get into MinshewMania? Draft a QB?
Doesn't matter. They’re going back to the same place of irrelevance that they were in before the Brady era. It’s ultimately a dumb organization, so they’ll probably roll with Gabbert next season while trying and failing to develop Trask into anything useful. -

Their stadium was condemned last year, too. I spent a weird amount of time at Aloha Stadium when I was a kid for a variety of different reasons, and I can’t think of any other sporting venue at any level that was even close to being as rancid as that place was. It made the Oakland Coliseum look like a palace, by comparison. And it wasn’t just gross, it was downright dangerous. The last time I was there, large sections of the metal platforms holding the bleachers had collapsed due to rust, and that was almost 15 years ago. I can’t believe they used that stadium for so long without killing someone.

The Rams can compete with anyone. Not counting them out, should they get past SF
Lol the Rams aren’t beating the Chiefs. Can’t close vs football’s Mariano Rivera. No way.-

None of us are giving the Bengals a chance next weekend, right?

God what a kick in the nuts it’s gotta be to be a Bills fan.
There you go, everyone. Two Super Bowl wins in three years for the Chiefs.

Bills are keeping it close but I just don’t think they’ve got it tonight.

You'd be surprised at the power of idiot ball. The magic ability to bring opponents down to your level is a gift in football.
I think you may be underestimating how dumb the Rams can be. Rams are DEEPLY flawed in the same way the 49ers are, but with more playmakers and a much better QB.
Tonight’s game (which so far has been REALLY good) kinda feels like the real Super Bowl to me.

The Niners are totally going to idiot their way into an NFC title, aren't they?
Lol, no. Rams are going to beat the Niners in a close one because they are absolutely due (and because Jimmy G is gonna finally Jimmy G it up too much), and then they’re going to get straight boatraced by whoever wins the game tonight. Probably the Chiefs.-

Bucs played like dead fish most of the game, but never rolled over. Losses always suck, but I feel something for this team I haven’t in ages. Pride. Great ride. Hope we get more, but if not, I’m thankful.

All these Niners fans who’ve been yapping about how “we want the Rams” are gonna feel real dumb when they get absolutely rolled by them and then they go on to lose another Super Bowl.

Ok so hold up...let's take this roll call again:
Alabama: DOWN
Pittsburgh: DOWN
Dallas: DOWN
(For those to whom it matters) New England: DOWN
Green Bay: DOWN
Now all that's needed is for LA and Buffalo to handle business on the road tomorrow and there won't be a single annoying juggernaut left standing. Man 2022 really IS shaping up to be a great year, isn't it??
I’m so sad we lost you.-

49ers gotta be the sentimental favorites just for taking out Dallas and Green Bay.

I’m gonna be so :censored:ing mad if the Bucs lose tomorrow.
How the hell did the Niners win that game? Gator polo (that’s a good inadvertent autocorrect)
looked MISERABLE and the coaching was legit bad. That defense carried them. I said before last week they’re the team I was most worried about playing. That defense is so SO good.

How long until we can fully admit that Kyle Shanahan just isn’t that good of a coach?

Jimmy G throws the pick, Green Bay decides to ice it, the Niners don’t let them and try to get the ball back (lol :censored:ing WHY?), Green Bay absolutely torched them on a mistake on the next play, d still blocks the kick.
If the Niners win this game, it will be in spite of themselves. That coaching staff is annoyingly dumb. Like, Chargers level dumb.
Also, I almost want to see what Trey Lance can do at this point. Jimmy G looks pathetic.

Lol no, of course he isn’t. He was their only option.

The Titans aren’t even a real NFL team. They’re just the group of guys the NFL puts out there as a the losing side in their interesting storylines. I’m fully convinced of it. No matter how good this team is, I never have it in my mind that they’re going to actually do something with it. They were the one seed this year and I completely forgot they were even in the playoffs earlier this week.
That being said, hell yeah, Bengals. This team is fun as hell to watch, and Burrow is easily my favorite of the young new QBs. Even with that, I’ll be flat out stunned if they can beat either the Chiefs or Bills. That O line looks YIKES bad, despite the win.

Yeah so I initially had Buffalo in the next round because I thought they were going to be at home. Seeing that the game is in KC, though? I think the Chiefs take that.
Also, a couple of thoughts:
If the 49ers end up winning the Super Bowl, they’ll have gone through Dallas, Green Bay, (Probably) Tampa Bay, and Kansas City. HOLY CRAP that’s a gauntlet. Also, on the one probably game? If that’s a Niners/Rams PT III, Rams are going to walk away with it. They’ve lost to the Niners like 8 times in a row, and are absolutely due.
I think that Bengals Titans game is going to be absolutely wild. Both have some pretty explosive pieces on offense, and I don’t trust either of those defenses.

Yeah they’re rounding into form at the most annoying possible time. But the Bucs defense looks to be doing the same, so who knows?
I had zero confidence going into the playoff game in New Orleans last year and that turned out just fine.
Bengals
Bills
49ers
Bucs

If you’re a Cardinals fan, I don’t know how you don’t see this season as a total disappointment. Top of the league basically all season, only to fall completely apart in the second half and get bounced by a division rival in round one. That kinda stuff is WAY worse than just being middle of the road.

Injuries and the patented Kingsbury Collapse.
Honestly the entire NFC west was pretty overrated this season. Cards we’re hot out of nowhere, Niners are the same roller coaster they always are, and the Rams had the makings of a “super team” that played at about a quarter that level.-

2021 NFL Season - Adults Arguing About Matt Stafford

It’s crazy. People hated Brady so much and hoped so hard for ANYONE else, and that anyone ended up being Mahomes, who makes people just as mad if not more so. I’m trying my hardest to consciously not hate him as much as I did Brady, because that was just tiresome and a huge waste of time that I don’t care to repeat. But holy crap, it’s hard. There’s something that I just find so… Boring, about him. No idea why. He’s undoubtedly incredible, and seems like a great teammate, but there’s just something that irks me about him so much. Why does consistent success in sports feel so off putting? I can’t explain it.
