The team wordmark looks like a condensed version of Brothers. The text at the top of the image is likely something from the DIN family.

It was started before the Sports Logos section was split into News and General Discussion, and may have been passed over in the split since it hadn't been responded to in a year and a half before you did yesterday. Anyway, it has been moved.

If at all possible, please get the URL that you're being redirected to and report it here: Bad Ad Report That would be a big help in cutting down on these types of ads.

I don't think so. No offence, but 11 likes is rarely going to crack the leaderboard. The rolling weekly one on the front page, #5 today is 91 likes. If you click on "Show More" under that, or on the Leaderboard tab at the top of the page, you can do a custom date search, and on Sunday when you had 11 likes, the top 4 were between 37 and 45 apiece.

All you have to do is copy the URL of the post and paste it into the reply box. It should embed automatically.

*ahem* A reminder to everyone that this thread is in the Sports Logos News section of the forum, and should be used to discuss the names and logos for XFL 2.0 — and not the viability of the league and/or speculation of the sort of product it will put on the field compared to the NFL. There is a thread in the Sports in General forum where those sorts of matters may be discussed, but I would encourage you not to have the same circular speculative yes-they-will-no-they-won't discussions between now and February as have been occurring lately, lest I and the rest of the moderating team develop the urge to slam our heads through walls.

I wouldn't read much, if anything, into those. Some are either XFL 1.0 game footage or XFL 1.0 uniforms with the original logos stripped off. I can clearly see designs that were worn by the LA Xtreme and the SF Demons.

So Calgary city council approved the proposed new arena deal yesterday. On the surface, it looks decent as far as arena deals go -- 50% of the money from the City, 50% from the Flames, total of $550 million -- but the optics are TERRIBLE. Yes, this has been an ongoing process for a while now, but the first that was heard of the new deal was only a week ago, and it has already been rammed through council. And then, in that week, council also had to find $60 million in services to cut from the municipal budget. I mean, sometimes the timing isn't perfect and you have to take a good deal when you can get it, but yeeeeeeesh. Anyway, construction expected to begin in 2021.
